The northern side had the advantage due to them having 71% of the population of the U.S on their side. The north also had twice the amount of food the south has. The north can also trade with other countries to get certain resources that they need. Unlike the south which Is only 29% of the population of the U.S. they also only cultivate cotton which limits their food and resources as well as the rail road system their inefficient for the south.

The North had the biggest advantage because they had the resources, supplies, equipment, and money to help fund and provide for the war. The South had an agricultural economy and their exporting of cotton was cut short because of the blockade so they weren’t making any money to fund the war. The North was made up about 71% of the population so they were big enough to assemble an army while the South barely had enough people to make a barricade. The North also had a great transportation system and this made it easier to transport troops, supplies and food. The South, unfortunately, had a horrible transportation system and could not transport troops or goods from place to place. And these are the reasons why the North was more prepared for war than the South.

The North had an advantage in the Civil War. The had a large free population giving them the ability to have an army. They had 71% of the US railroad system which allowed them to transport troops, supplies, and food. A big thing is they also had the ability to produce weapons and military supplies due to the fact that they had an industrial economy. The South on the other hand only had 67% off a free population this prohibited them from having an army. They had poor rail transportation enabling them to transport troops, supplies, and food efficiently. The South had an agricultural economy. This didn’t give them the ability to produce weapons like the North.

The North was much better suited to win the Civil War. First, they already had plenty of money saved up, along with a steady flow of income through bonds and taxation. Second, a larger population enabled them to assemble a larger army. The south wasn't as prepared. They tried creating a foreign alliance and even printing their own money, but the former failed while the latter caused extreme inflation. The Union blockade of the South also helped to cripple their economy.

The north was much better suited for the civil war than the south. This was due to the North being much better industrially prepared as well as better prepared in funds. The north was already advanced in industrial technology as well as them having better funding and money management than the south. The North had alot more cash money on hand which allowed them to pay for military expenses much easier where as the south frantically printed money in an attempt to pay which had ended up crashing the economy.

The north was more likely to win the war because they were more of an industrial economy and they had a large amounts of cash assets. Things like weapons/military supplies would be easy to have access to because they were doing well with manufacturing things and had lots of factories.

The North was in an advantageous position for the Civil War because it could better support a military. Weapons, modes of transportation, and people are all things a successful military needs. The North had well established factories, so they could make guns and ships, and there were many immigrants in the North who’d come seeking work. It could be argued that the South had an advantage with food supply because of the region’s agricultural economy, but that argument falls short when considering the South’s main cash crop was cotton. The South’s agricultural economy was the reason it struggled to finance the war with much of the wealth being tied up in land and slave investments, and the North’s industrial economy was the reason it had cash on-hand to more easily fund the war campaign. The North was much better equipped for a war, so it makes sense that the North won the Civil War.
