It prohibits employment in minors in "oppressive child labor".&nbsp; <br><strong>How did it help?- </strong>It gave raises to 700,000 workers. <br><strong>Effective?- </strong>Despite the fact that the entire target was not reached, the federal government was clearly identified as a monitor of employment practices.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

"TVA Act—was to address the Valley's most important issues in energy, environmental stewardship and economic development. Learn about key moments in our history as we’ve tackled important issues in the Tennessee Valley such as power production, flood control and reforestation, and about how our mission of service lives on today."<br><strong>Effective?</strong> Yes it was extremely effective and stopped flooding for Tennessee.
