-> CIIT is one of the best multi-media art school in the Philippines. Apart from the beautiful campus, the CIIT programs are also good, even the teaching of the professors compared to my previous school, FEU TECH.
->The tuition fee is also a big deal for me because it is affordable to the student and worth it. I think CIIT is the cheapest art school in the Philippines.I really appreciate the free license software they offer to students. In my previous school, the tuition fee is not worth it, it is so expensive. Also the program is not that good since Multimedia Art recently implemented at 2019. Unfortunately, they are not giving free adobe software to the student which is the most important software to them, especially to the multimedia art course. They only offer Microsoft office.
-> The president of CIIT is so kind and humble.
->The school really care to the students, they listen to what they want.
-> The schools really fit to me

- To be honest, I can't visualize my future even though I enjoy doing arts lately. That's why I don't want to graduate first because I don't yet know where I will go. Sometimes I get nervous every time I think about this. It is so hard for me.
- Fortunately, the seminar was discussed about our possible work and I really learn a lot about the talk and somehow it helped me. I appreciate the efforts of the school just to help them and see their goals.

"Discipline is a bridge between goals and accomplishment"

Discipline has a significant role in our goals and accomplishment. We know that having discipline for us is one of the most important things in our life. It is essential when it comes to our goals and accomplishment. A person who has discipline will be focused on his/her goals so that it will not hard for him/her to achieve it since the mind focused on the goals they want to achieve. Also, the person will have self-control, he/she will become careful about his/her behavior or attitude when he/she at work. Time management is included in the discipline. If we cannot manage our time, we can get stressed, which is not healthy for us. When it comes to time, it is important to manage it so that, we can do our works well and we will have more time in a day.

"We are not studying for school but for life"

A school is just a place where most of us study. The purpose of studying is to learn about things in life. It will develop our intelligence, gain knowledge, develop our personality and behavior, also it could improve the way we think that will guide us to our future. Aside from that, education is one of the keys to be able to get a good career, that's why we study for life.

Reflection: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

-> 7 habits of highly effective people is a book by Stephen cover for us to know what things can we improve to ourselves It begins with an overview of how even people who have attained a high degree of professional achievement are nevertheless dealing with an intense desire to improve professional productivity and stable interaction with others.

Here are my understanding

1) Be Proactive- It's all about your choice, actions, and decision in your life. It means that everything you want to achieve is you will decide to what direction you will go, rather than depending on someone else's. Also, we are the one who has control of our feelings. We should listen to ourselves, not to the others who say bad things to us. Be proactive to avoid negativity.

2) Begin with the End in Mind - Just clear our mind, so that we can visualize the future we want and we will have a determination to do it

3) Put first things first - We must have the discipline to prioritize the most important things. If it is done, then we can do whatever we want, just prioritize what should come first

4)Think win-win. Its a way of thinking of a person that he/she is not the only one who will succeed, also the others. We should not think that everything is a competition

5)Seek first to understand, then to be understood- A person should not be one-sided. For us to understand each other, we should learn to listen to their sides. This is a common problem between parents and children. Some parents don't listen to them because they think that they are always right since they are the parent.

6)Synergize- For me, it is about teamwork, unity, helping each other to do what needs to be done like thinking about the solution for a problem. This is important to apply when we have a career.

7)Sharpen the saw- We are experiencing stress and anxiety. All we have to do is rest, physically and mentally like sleeping or meditating. This is so important, especially for our minds. We will have an idea about the things that we will do and we will become productive

Reflection: The 21st Century Skills

Learnings:

The 21st Century skills talk about the knowledge of an individual, specifically for students. The idea of this article is the schools should prioritize these skills to the students of 21st-century age to improve their skills, compared to those students of the 20th century who learn, and that their abilities need to represent unique requirements in a dynamic, competitive, knowledge-based, IT-driven economy and culture. This is divided into three to emphasize the main skills which are learning, literacy, and life skills. It is relevant to schooling and academic study.
For literacy, students need it for them to understand the written word in everyday life. When it comes to the story, we can say that a movie is cool because of the technology like there is graphics, 3D objects, visual effects, etc. If we compare it to the book, there is no moving in it, but the words are powerful compared to the images that we see at the movie. In the book, it let us imagine the setting or event that is happening in the story. Most of the time, it is more detailed than the movie. By reading, a person will improve his/her literacy that can apply to the future.
About life skills, it is better to teach it since one of the purposes of studying of students is to have a good career like social skills and leadership. It will help them and they can apply it.

"True power lies in understanding yourself, accepting yourself, and having confidence in yourself."

We individual has weaknesses and we have many obstacles to overcome. family and friends are the one who will stay and support us. But not all the time they will stay, they have their own problem . In order to overcome it, we should understand our self, like what is our weaknesses and strength, we should accept who we are, and lastly we should have a confidence always so that we will know how to solve the problems that we will encounter and we can live on our own .

"iMatter"
Every person in the world, matter. What ever who you are, whatever your preference is, your skin tone, your face and body, we are more than that, we matter. We should love and respect each other so that we will be loved and respect. But even though some people hate us, just ignore them. Instead, focus on people who love and believe on you, people who will support you no matter what

My learnings and take away from 'Account', 'Technologies', 'Student Dashboard' and 'Applications'.

- Having an unlimited storage is a big help for the student. Also, I will use this CIIT gmail account whenever I backup my photos if I run out of storage since our account has an unlimited storage. Like what the IT said, it's okay to upload personal file but it's much better if we use it for school purposes only. Also what I learned is don't use the ciit gmail account for the malicious website or other site that you need to create an account using gmail because they might suspend it. I only linked my ciit account for padlet, kalibbr, linkedIn and I hope that it is okay to them.
Also I gain knowledge about student dashboard like how to talk or communicate to the I.T if we have a concern.
Regarding about free application, I will download it as much as my laptop can and use it often like practicing since it is free but has a limited time, after we graduate.

All I can say is Canvas is very helpful to students, it is easy to use, you can monitor your assignments and grades. It is better than Edmodo that we used in Junior High
