This video discusses how world economy and global banks are interconnected. This video gives a summary of the current banking crisis and the actions taken by central banks throughout the world to restore financial stability. It also highlights how even if this crises is resolved the public is losing trust in the financial sector which is a greater concern. The rising interest make it even more challenging for global banks to undo bad long-term investments. Global Banking standards and credit conditions are expected to tighten as a result of these crisis. Though Canadian institutions are expected to be more stable, worries about future job losses and economic slowdowns resulting from global financial turmoil remain.

I chose this video since it relates current state of the world economy and the role Canadian and global banking institutions have in stabilizing the crises ahead.
