One of the first animals to be recognized by the Endangered Species Act in 1973. There is also birds, fish and many other animals. The cause of all this is the water pollution, like said the article, The forest exploitation and to much development. The loss of these species represent a permanent loss to the nation’s natural heritage and for the biodiversity. There are chased from they environment they are lost and can’t survive from a new environment who isn’t adapt to them.
