Kids had a playlist for the day based upon their interests and they had a CHOICE in what they worked on and when -

Interesting that the schools no longer exist. They all closed - but the concept turned into a software company called Altitude Learning that provides Learning Software for schools to assign and track student learning.  
I loved the concept of the school but I think cost and getting buy in from parents was not lucrative and the schools had to close.
