The author dialogue is very effetive because we know where the charcters are and this enhances the story because we have a good idea on how the chracters are feeling in the place their in.

The gaps that the author should fill it is what happened to the hospital that jeannette was in because they never explained that they called the police to go find them.

They might interpret how for younger audience looks at it they may not understand because they don't know but someone in a different time might interpret and might relate to them. 5. How it effects the story for me is how I didn't live in poverty, never have enough money or having to go place to place so I don't really feel like I relate to them.

6. The audience intended are those who are ashamed of their past and who spend their lives trying to hide it. I'm different from the audience because I was not in the position their in and I'm not ashamed of my past.

The economic conditions affect the characters by Jeannette's parents are very cheap like how if one of them get injured they don't take them to the doctor but do it themselves or they can tough it out but also don't by food and use other methods.

An example is Jeannette wanting to build the glass castle because her father said they were going to build the glass castle to they can live in it but he hasn't even started it and probably doesn't plan on making it.
