Firstly, we learn about living abroad, such as washing clothes by ourselves, taking the wrong bus, and handling the water distraction, which is very new in our lives. All of these unpredictable situations could shape us to have realistic and positive thinking and make us more adaptable and able to blend in with every situation in the future, whether it is good or bad.

Secondly, we can improve our proficiency in the English language, which we have been learning for a while but haven't had the opportunity to apply in real life. Studying in Penang gave us the opportunity to speak English more often because we had many amazing supporters, including our buddy that the USM provides for us, and having conversation partners has been important in helping us become more comfortable and brave when speaking to people.

To sum up, every good moment always goes fast because we enjoy every valuable moment until we forget that it is time to go back home. But every cherish moment is a gift that we will collect to improve the goals forever.

Pear&Kay

The fisrt things I learned from Penang is basic expressions from a random guy that I met in RECSAM, who I believe he was the maid. He just approached and taught me some basic words. The first one is Selamat pagi, means good morning in Malay language. I also learned how to say good night too. Unfortunately, dut to my short-memory, all of them are just vanished from my brain. I also discovered new language, Urdu, from Fatima. She's one of the buddies that I got a chance to have a conversation with. She taught me a couple of the basic expressions as well. One of them is Shukriya, which means thank you in Urdu. We were talking for hours when we first met. It's about her home country, Pakistan. We even shared our secrets! That's why I can feel the connection with her the most.

I had a great time during my stay in Penang, Malaysia. I've got to learn new languages and meet fantastic people. I will cherish every moment here and always keep in touch with every single person I had a deep conversation with. I'm sure the love and memories we shared will be engraved in my heart forever.

While the plane landed at Penang City Airport We have entered the country. to go check immigration to enter Malaysia After that there was a bus. Pick up and drop off at recsam dormitory to rest. The feeling was like a change of atmosphere. You will learn that living in a dormitory is different from living at home.

Entering day 2 of Malaysia  Went to compete with the Malaysian University of Science.  To study basic English  When we arrived in the morning, there was food to eat.  After eating, I went to study in class to learn English.  After finishing the morning class, we took a lunch break to eat lunch. Lunch consisted of beef, fried chicken, and massaman. When we finished eating lunch,  then rest as desired  When the afternoon class arrived, I went to class as usual. When the class ended, the next day I went to visit Georgetown, went for a walk, bought some things, went to eat dinner, which was roti, and then went to the beach at Padang Kota Lama.

In conclusion, traveling and studying on this trip was very fun.  learned the culture  and exchange of countries  and then returned to the Malay language  It was a very good experience on this trip. If there is a trip abroad in the future, I will go again.

The day after arriving in Malaysia, the first meal we ate was Nasi Lemak. The taste was quite new to me as the food was spicy with a bit of sweet, which is different from Thai food.The first time I ate it, I thought it tasted like แกงส้ม it's a sour curry from Thailand.

I've been here for 5 days. I've tried the local foods and I'm really interested in it. So I asked my Malay friends to say that each food has a history or is there a process for how to do it? Because I am a person who likes to eat food like that. So I thought that if I took the knowledge of local cooking methods that my Malaysian friends taught me and continued on, it might have a positive effect on me and my family. For example, if I practiced cooking and sold those foods to generate income for people and their families.

To conclude, after coming to study on exchange in Malaysia, I think I will gain a lot of new knowledge and experience from teachers and friends who teach and give me advice.

As we landed in Penang after a short flight from suvarnabhumi airport (BKK). We exited the airport, we were greeted by the rained weather and headed straight to our International house to check in and get some rest.After freshening up in the morning.We took a bus to Universiti sains malaysia (USM).There’s breakfast for us. it’s a national dish called Nasi lemak and then we took lessons. .The teacher started with the basics and made us write a short essay of our expectations for the course.

On Wed3/1 ,We took a bus to Subaidah Restaurant at USM and then I ordered nasi goreng telur mata dan ayam goreng (egg fried rice and fried chicken) for breakfast it’s hard to called And a guy who charges me for food taught me how to call name of food. If I don’t call it right, He won’t let me pay.I see the people near me eat with right hand instead using spoon and fork I think it’s normally because in Thailand some food we also used hand to eat.After finished breakfast We go to lesson just like we do every day. We went to the local market to buy some food for dinner.

On sat6/1 we took a bus like a tourist to Georgetown to try the famous Penang street food.e tried char kway teow,Penang laksa, and satay - such amazing flavors and then we went to Chew jetty , 3d mansion, Gurney plaza and we headed to Batu Ferringhi beach on the north coast of the island. We relaxed on the soft sand, But we didn’t play in the water because it rained and arrived at evening just watched the sunset. On the way back,We stopped at a Thai restaurant for the spot after a long day. We really miss Thai food. The weather was a little bit hot so, I was a bit tired but overall it was an unforgettable experience,After we were out all day, we took a shower and have a good night’s sleep.

Before departure , we had a free evening before our flight back tomorrow in the morning at 13th. We headed to Georgetown and enjoyed bamboo noodles and street-food.We did some final souvenir shopping before it was time to head to the airport.

To summarize Our week in Penang flew by,filled with amazing food,multicultural of Penang Island , interesting sights, and lots of fun My trip was very satisfied and truly enjoyed this trip.
