It was my first time ever using clay before and creating something. The project started out as a project but I soon became obsessed about it and it changed from a project in school to piece of art. The bear really doesn't represent much I just wanted to try something that was cool and the lion on the wall inspired me. The bear took me a long time because I was a perfectionist about it. The head took a month to sculpt at least and then I would restart it. By far the hardest part was the fur. The piece was already pretty difficult for me and the the fur was impossible, the fur took about 3 tries of fully layering fur on the bear and then taking it off and trying again.
