In Germany's case Nationalism could be dangerous. Nationalism is the belief that your country is superior to all others. And because of this countries think high and mighty of themselves and my try to do whatever to other countries. Germany in this case since its one of the strongest powers, could use their power against others. Which would keep them at the top but may also affect others if they use force. The fact that Germany is a strong country in this part would make them especially dangerous if someone stood in their way of trying to become even stronger because of Germany's military .

The Boxer's were not justified in their revolt. A reason why would be that the Boxer decided it was a good idea to end up killing hundreds to thousands of people. Along with a lot of looting and pillaging of place's while hunting for foreigners which were the Europeans. The Boxers didn't like the Europeans and them being allowed to slowly take land and profits. A group of people decided to come together and revolt which named themselves the Boxers and ended having multiple countries teaming up taking down the Boxers. The Boxers in my opinion killing, hunting and pillaging just to find Europeans and kill and drive them out would not be justified in their revolt.

Another thing that stands out would be that the man has a bag or something that says U.S. because and there is an American flag on the school building and I didn't know America was ever involved with Africa besides teaming up with other countries to take down the Boxers revolt. Also, what stood out to was the feet/boot/shoes of a body that was possibly barred being exposed in the ground which may go along with the Boxers because maybe that was a European or Boxer that was killed during the revolts or when U.S. and other countries teamed up and fought against the Boxers.

White Mans burden's ideas was that it Europe's right to educate and Christianize the people of Africa and Asia. A social goal for Europeans were to spread civilization and idea's to new territories. So these people were in new territories and because they felt like they had the right, they set up territories and colonies to educate and convert the native people to make them civilized and educated.

The Europeans would make colonies around the North Eastern and Central Africa and form colonies or territories. In these colonies and territories they would gather resources such as Gold and Oil. Also, since the Europeans were hunters they would hunt Elephants for their tusks for trophies to bring back home and just show it off. Which could've brought profits to the hunters and the nations for the resources that was being brought back, which was also used to fuel their industrialization.

The Age of Imperialism does deserve a bad rap. A reason would be how the goals of Imperialism which were Social, Economic, and Political were accomplished and events. In order to get resources, teach, and convert, Europeans sought it after Africa because of new territories and all the new and fresh resources. But by doing so the Europeans ended up killing elephants for their tusks which is bad because their just keeping tusks as trophies and elephants becoming extinct. Also, in Africa the Europeans would create territories/colonies taking creosotes then selling it back to the Natives for a profit such as just taking Gold, turning it jewelry, then selling it back. Another, negative thing would be White Man's burden which was the belief the the European's had the right to make the uncivilized civilized. Meaning they would take Natives and put them in schools along with converting them to Christianity which would destroy/take away the Natives culture and religion.
