The PAR is a partnership portal where businesses and authorities can apply to be nominated for and manage active partnerships in line with the Primary Authority Scheme held by the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS)

The application is initiated by a local authority where all information for the partnership is populated. The application is then moved for confirmation from the business. Once confirmed it is moved into OPSS where relevant checks are conducted and reviewed for approval by a Secretary of State representative.

These are all big complex journeys.

The journey we would like to have feedback on is the ‘initiate application’ which is the first step conducted by the local authority.

Note that there are specific ways of moving through the prototype for rules and dynamics to work.

We should however be able to walk you through this from our staging environment, which requires account set up to access.
