Use Students' Interests As Teaching Tools
Paying attention to your students' interests and then incorporating those interests into lessons and classroom activities is a great way to reach all of the students in your classroom. Students learn and perform better when they have a connection to the material. Providing students with opportunities to show what they are learning with an activity that also includes something they are passionate about is a great way to connect with all of the unique students in your classroom.

2. Meet Students Where They Are
It is important to accommodate students where they are at and help bring them up to where they need to be instead of hoping that they can use your instruction to get there on their own. Whether students are neurodiverse, have different cultural backgrounds, or have trauma that affect the way they learn, it is important to find out where those students are and what they need to thrive in the classroom.

3. Provide Check-In And Feedback Opportunities
During activities provide students with the ability to reach out for help or provide mid-activity check-ins to measure how students are doing. Based on the outreach or responses, you will have a better understanding of who needs your attention during the activity.
