Its name came from its ability to outdistance other horse breeds in races of quarter mile or less; some have been clocked at speeds up to 55 mph (88.5 km/h).<br><br>They have a small amount of draft horse breeding, they are known as warm bloods like Morgans or Canadian Horses.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>They are frequently fawn in co lour. All purebred Jerseys have a lighter band around their muzzle, dark switch (long hair on the end of the tail), and black hooves, although in recent years color regulations have been relaxed to allow a broadening of the gene pool.<br><br>Originally bred in the Channel Island of Jersey, the breed is popular for the high butterfat content of its milk and the lower maintenance costs attending its lower body weight, as well as its genial disposition.<br><br>Jersey cows are renowned for their ease of calving. According to the AJCA, the difficult birth rate for the breed is less than 1 percent. Heifers reach reproductive age earlier than other breeds, so can be bred and put into milk production months earlier than comparable dairy cows.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It is fawn or red and white in color, and is hardy and docile.<br><br>The Guernsey cow is known for producing high-butterfat, high-protein milk with a high concentration of beta carotene. Being of intermediate size, Guernseys produce their high quality milk while consuming 20 to 30 percent less feed per pound of milk produced than larger dairy breeds.<br><br>The Guernsey cattle breed originated in the Channel Islands between France and England and is named for the Isle of Guernsey, which is the most western of the group. Face, crest, dewlap, underline, switch and legs below the hocks are characteristically white.<br><br>Hereford cattle are a beef cattle breed, widely used in many different climates, primarily for meat production. Originally from Hereford shire, England, United Kingdom, more than five million pedigree Hereford cattle now exist in over 50 countries.<br><br> first brought to the United States in 1817 by Henry Clay, they are now the predominating breed on the Western ranges. A polled (hornless) Hereford strain developed in the United States by selective breeding is now very popular.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Brahmans very in color from very light grey or red to almost black. A majority of the breed are light to medium grey. Mature bulls are normally darker than cows and usually have dark areas on the neck, shoulders and lower thighs.<br><br>The Brahman is mainly used for breeding and the meat industry. It has been crossbred extensively with Bose Taurus Taurus (European) beef breeds of cattle. It has been used to develop numerous other U.S. beef breeds including Angus, Beef master, Sirrah and Santa Gertrude.<br><br>Brahma is the first god in the Hindu triumvirate, or Trimurti. The triumvirate consists of three gods who are responsible for the creation, upkeep and destruction of the world. The other two gods are Vishnu and Shiva. Vishnu is the preserver of the universe, while Shiva's role is to destroy it in order to re-create.<br><br></div>]]></description>
