He likes to go on adventures with his friends and it is amazing what he can do as a blind 10 year old orphan. He is a great kid and he never saw his parents because they left him on the streets because they didn't like that he was a thief. The parents didn't want to half to pay a tax because he stole something or broke the law so they left him. He is very obedient and willing to overcome the obstacles that stand in his way. This book shows acceptance because not many people in this story care that he is blind and think he is very pathetic and limited on what blind people can do. But he doesn’t care about those who think negatively against him, which I think is great. This also shows freedom because Mr. Seamus tricked him and I think that’s very rude and now Mr. Seamus doesn’t care about him and makes him steal things and give the treasures to him. But now since Peter escaped, he is now free and doesn’t have to worry anymore. Peter shows guilt because he doesn’t want to steal things from innocent people and regrets all the bad things he did to him and also regrets taking the golden eyes.
So far I think this book is really good and I like it a lot. It shows lots of lessons hidden in the book and I think it’s really neat!

Peter is a blind kid who can be courageous and strong. A person made Peter go and steal something that Peter wasn’t so pleased about. But Peter stole an apple and he felt really bad. Peter’s friend and he go and leave but them Peter’sHis friend got taken by a beast monster. Peter was anxious and worried, but then he bumped into Some beast who was familiar with the monster and told Peter about the monster and where it went. Peter went and went to find his friend.
