What are you wondering about? Write what you think (as a researcher) you need to do / develop / have support with to be a co-designer /co-constructor / collaborator in this journey.

- I’m wondering how applying this framework will look like in reality and I’m so excited to see how each child will use and develop the competencies (the 5C’s ) during their engagement in the different quests/projects.

- As a researcher, I need to look for similar frameworks that are used in progressive schools that share a similar vision to ours (e.g. brightwork school) while staying aware that each context is unique.

There are two things I haven't been able to stop thinking about. Both of which are fears, I guess.

The first is a fear of feeling self-inflicted pressure to ensure that something - some kind of learning is taking place. One of the questions I had was, well what happens when you have all these tools in front of a learner and they just don't engage? You can't force them to engage. You shouldn't force them to engage. And I think this comes from the "training" and "education" I've been through where we just kind of expect something to happen. I don't know if this is making any sense, but I learned that I really need to embrace being comfortable with the ambiguity/complexity. I understand it, but I realized on Saturday that I have yet to apply it.

The second is the idea/art of nudging. It terrifies me. Only because I don't want to nudge a learner in the wrong way. When I was in KG, our teacher gave us a worksheet with 4 apples on it. We had to color the apples. Some of my classmates colored them red, some yellow, some green. I decided to use all three colors for the same apple. Then my teacher yelled at me and humiliated me in front of everyone because "that's not what an apple looks like." Clearly, still a little traumatized to this day. I wouldn't want to be a collaborator that might do or say something that has a similar effect on a learner, so it's something I need to be cautious about, yet, at the same time, not too cautious that it prevents me from collaborating. I don't know if that makes sense.

In terms of research, I feel like I need to put myself in situations/experiences/journey where I can just explore. No expectations, no rules. I need to re-discover the art of discovery. Again, I don't know if that makes sense.

I think that there is a little blurring on the learning ways which need to be practiced with the students in the school . It is therefore necessary to explain more about the framework which was mentioned in the workshop and to clarify it more so that we can see what needs to be work on during the growth of the learners , as parents and school officials need to notice the occurrence To learn distinct in a way that can be measured or observed clearly , With our belief that education is done in practice we need more practice by the Institute for Educational Development to increase the image of outstanding learning practices .

After the meeting I had a few hours of wondering if I would ever be able to really deeply understand each and every thing in the document i took home. A little self-doubt, possibly some fears got their ways around but what I am really wondering now is what a wonderful way will unfold in front of me so that i can turn this "I don't know" state into one of my biggest strength.
I do believe things will unfold and show me and the rest of the team what to do.
Indeed what we have ahead is new to most of us, and maybe even more to me.
I am wondering if there is a way I could be guided to a little more reading or viewing ( youtube and i are in a very close relationship). If a reading or a viewing list is a lot to ask for, maybe just a few keywords of what to search for? somehow the 5 "C" feel a bit like 5 SEAS.

Nudging...I wonder what that actually looks like too...

I believe that our real work as educators lie in how we observe, perceive, and present the learning we see everyday. We will use our own CRAFT routines to reflect on learning, assess learning, and plan for further learning. I am really thinking about what resources and routines can support with this CRAFT and how deep, meaningful documentation is at the heart of our work.

https://www.storypark.com/about/
