-Today I discovered the course outline which is the assignments we have to do for the whole semester. One of the assignments is turning notes into mind maps and doing a reflection at the end of every class.
-Madam Tunku uses 'ABM' to illustrate "tabula rasa". Every child is born with a tabula rasa and their behavior can be shaped by the environment.
-Technology is not only about computers and the internet.
-Technology makes our life easier and improves our quality of life.
-Madam Tunku also taught us how to use padlet and mind master edraw in order to complete our assignment.
-I discovered the term andragogy which means teaching someone who is advanced in age.

Today I've learned about behaviorism. I discovered that behaviorism can influence learning outcomes based on observable and measurable. We can also unlearn everything that we've learned before.
Madam Tunku also introduced the word 'disequilibrium to us which means confusion.
Behaviorism also said that the world shapes us while Constructivism said we shape the world.

-Today, I've learned how to make a mind map using padlet. We made a mind map about ADDIE notes. ADDIE is a design of instruction to shape our teaching based on a learning theory. Everyone has done the mind map in class, excluding me because I didn't bring my laptop to class huhu (T_T). So basically, I just wrote all the theories in my notebook.

-Do not do your lesson plan before you've done your ADDIE notes.

-We use ADDIE to help us develop the proper way of the teaching and learning.

-In today's class, we learned about Cognitivism. Before that, Madam Tunku answered a few questions about ADDIE notes.

-We cannot have proper teaching without preparing.

-We can evaluate our teaching by asking about students' outcomes.

-How to deal with a sleepy student? Do hands-on activities and ask them to do the activities in front of the class.

-Madam showed the concept of average using green apples. (Example of hands-on activities)

-We can develop babies by reading aloud, hugging them, and giving objects to them to explore.

-Madam explained about Robert Gagne and the 9.

Hi and Assalamualaikum.
My name is Siti Aisyah binti Jusoo. I'm taking Islamic Education and am in my first sem first year. I have 7 siblings and I'm the 6th one. I'm from Kelantan but I was born in Sabah. I took a Diploma from one of the private colleges in Kelantan. So yeah I think I'm the oldest in the class since most of them are from CFS. To be honest, I feel very insecure with everyone in every aspect haha. But it's okay, I'll try my best to overcome my insecurities. That's all about me. Thank you. >_<

Today's class was asynchronous because we were given to go back home for the General Election.

Madam Posted videos about Madeline Hunter and Canva Tricks.

So basically Madeline Hunter has 8 elements of the Lesson Plan which are;
1) Anticipatory Set
2) Purpose
3) Input
4) Modelling
5) Guided Practice
6) Checking for understanding
7) Independent Practice
8) Closure

The second one is a video about 45 Canva Tricks. I am very excited to learn a lot of tricks in Canva because before I only used templates provided without editing more creatively and innovatively. I am more confident to use Canva after this and can't wait to practice it in every task.

So in today's class, I've learned how to do an infographic using Canva. I found Canva is a very useful and interesting app. It is very easy to adapt. Madam also share with us tips and tricks that were very helpful and yeah I've done my very first Madeline Hunter Infographic.
Then, Madam explained what CASPER stands for.
C: Contrast
A: Alignment
S: Simplicity
P: Proximity
E: Emphasize
R: Repetition

Madam Tunku also suggested that we assign posters as homework to students instead of cliche handwriting work when we do our practicals or become a teacher soon InsyaAllah. :)))))

Today we are planning for our educational video on 21st-century learning skills with sister Hidayah. Sr Hidayah taught us how to plan for video using storyboarding. We learned a new tool named the micro board.
-We are divided into a group of three for the video assignment and my group members are Anis and Mai.
-I do not know how to use the micro board but I'll try my best to explore it more.

Today, I learned about Social Cognitive Theory and Bloom's Taxonomy presented by my classmates.

- Basically, the social cognitive theory is learning from observing others' behavior. They showed us a video about Bobo dolls to make us understand more about the topic.

- Bloom's Taxonomy is very important for teachers because it helps them to teach students and also to make the learning outcomes.

Today we had our very first-time online class because one of the presenters got a fever.

- Today's topic is Experiential Learning and Information Processing Model.

- Experiential Learning focuses on the best way to learn things through experiences.

- Madam added that to make students remember our teaching, make it EPISODIC! So, it will stick in their minds forever.

I do love IT class but I can't really focus on this online class. I'm so sorry madam. T_T

So today, there was 2 presentation. The topic of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and ARCS Model of Motivation.

One of the topics was presented by me and my team, Afifah, and Izzati. We're so nervous. But luckily, Madam helped us a lot through the preparation for the presentation.

Madam also taught us to use Zipgrade. This app can help teachers to mark their MCQ questions easily and faster.

Unfortunately, today is our last class together. Madam treats us Dominos Pizza which I have craved for a long time aaaaaa thank you soooo much Madam. Hope to see you again in another class. THANK YOU! <3
