For the about me I had the choice to make either a power point or a TikTok to present to everyone else in the class. The presentation had to include information about myself, such as where I was born and my favourite animal as well as a other information about myself. After the presentation was completed I had to present it the whole class and inform them on what the presentation was about. In my case I made a TikTok and added images of myself as well as other personal things about me such as my family member and friends. once the video was presented the class asked questions about the video which I had to answer so that they knew more about me and understood the video more.
Over all I think that the presentation went well I stood up in front of everyone and was surprised by the fact that I didn't stutter on my words and that I spoke clearly to everyone so that they understood me better.
If I were to do it again I think that I would have added more of a variaty of images to show more different aspects of my life and who I am as a person, I think that I would also add writing so that it explains more about myself that I might not have been able to show in the images that I chose.

For one on my leadership lesson I had to work with a group of people in my class that I weren't use to working with to help build bridges and to become more comfortable with other people in the class and talk to others I usually wouldn't. for the Lesson we had to create what we would consider a perfect leader in our opinion. This took two lesson where for on of the lessons we were working in our groups to create the leader and in the other lesson we had to present our leader to the rest of the class to convince them that our leader is the best leader out of all the others that had been created by the other students.
overall I think that the lesson went well because everyone in the group took part and added their own input on how the leader should have been presented and some of the key features that we should show in the over all image that we drew of our leader, when it came to presenting our leader I think that overall we spoke well and clearly to everyone else and managed to get our points across clearly, when it came to them asking questions about the leader I think that when answering the questions I did it clearly and confidently.
If I had the opportunity to redo the lesson and create our perfect leader again then I would have added other key features that would have made him seem more of a better everyday leader that would help support people on a day-to-day business and with anything else that people may have needed support with, other than that I think that both lessons went well.

For another one of jazz's lessons he placed us in groups again and gave us a scenario this one was that we were stranded on the dark side of the moon and had to get to the light side where the rest of out team were. He gave us a list of 15 items and we had to list them from the most useful to the least and we had to explain why we chose to put them were we did, this got us to talk to one another and we all had to make sure that we agreed on where things were meant to go and why they were put there.
overall i think this lesson went well since everyone was comfortable enough to add their own input and why they think that they belong where they were put, this also challenged us so that we had debate on a a specific place and reason on where they were meant to be.
If i were to do this lesson another time then I would have added my input some more and made sure that I got my opinion in more. another thing that I would have changed is when the group was explaining to others why we placed the items where we did, for this I just let everyone ask the questions and as a group we explained our reasoning as clearly as we could and as calmly as we could so that it didn't turn into a big debate.

For my first proper job I worked along side my Auntie at the kennel that she owned as a kennel hand. during the year that I worked for her I had a plethora of job roles, one of those job roles was to work along side some of the supervisors with feeding the dogs and giving out medication when needed. this typically happens around eight in the morning. once all the dogs had their food and meds the whole team breaks into two groups, one had the responsibility of cleaning out each kennel where as the other walks the dogs around the pen so that the others have access to the kennel without the dog their. This task it usually completed by 9:30 - 10:00 which gives me the opportunity to go over to the cattery, where I would have the responsibility of changing cat litter and changing the food for them. By the time this has been finished the dogs food bowls have been washed so I would have to lay them all out in the sun so that they are able to dry. Towards the end of the day I would go the groomers which is on site to help them with washing and drying some of the larger dogs that would be going home later that day.

Another example of what I do to motivate myself is by setting alarms and goals through the day. I do this by writing in my journal every morning about my goals for the day and tracking how much sleep I get. when I do this I also write down a to do list for the day this allows me to keep track of the tasks that I need to get done and what I have already done so I don't redo a job that has already been completed.

One thing that I would change is to try and keep on top of it since I have some days where I don't journal and it shows with my productivity and that I wont do as much as I usually would in a day compared to when I do journal.

when in the leadership lesson last year we had to partake in team building exercises we everyone managed to be able to take charge and lead at least one exercise. I led my group in the egg drop test. For this test we were all given a certain amount of supplies and a set amount of time just like the other tests. to begin with I grab a sheet of paper and the group as a whole created a plan of what we would build to protect the egg when we dropped it off the building. once the plan was drawn up and we all had a rough idea of what was going to be made I set a task for everyone to do to make things move as smooth as possible. someone was cutting the tape into more manageable pieces. Once the structure was built we placed the eg inside and we used left over paper and some tissues as a form of protection so it absorbed the impact and minimalized the impact off of the egg. when I led this task I used a democratic form of leadership for this task as I valued everyone opinion and took them into consideration when creating the plan.

This task went well since we all managed to work together coherently in the time frame that we got given and the plan that we all came up with collectively managed to work and the egg didn't brake when we finally dropped it off of the roof of the building.

one thing I would change when I lead another group in a team building exercise is to make sure that I don't rely on others opinions too much and learn to trust myself when it comes to giving people tasks to complete.

Another team building exercises I took part in was the tower building exercise this is where we had to work together to create a paper tower out of paper straws and two sheets of paper. we were given a set amount of cellotaph to use. we got tow work building the tower we had to work out how we were to get it to the specific height that was needed we did this by taping two or more of the paper straws together to get to the necessary height. once that was done we had to make sure the the base was stable for when the table got shook so that it didn't get knocked down as easy. the type of leadership style used for this form of task was a more lassie fair approach and the team leader took more of a step back and left us to do it however we knew that we could go to them for help or advise for when we became stuck.

this task went well due to the fact that our tower managed to meet the height requirements and that we managed to build it successfully within the timeframe given too us. one thing i would change however and that we could have done better is the fact that the team leader would have been more proactive with the task and that they would have used a different form of leadership since they seemed to be more of a team mate then a leader.

Now that the Mathematic exam resits are coming up revision is really important for the students that will be taking then exam. my friend is one of the, however, she has difficulty with numbers and understanding the questions. despite the amount of lessons she has she still struggles, this is why I assist her. This is due to the fact that I am able to word each question in a way that she understands and breaks it down into manageable parts for her as well as showing her how to do this herself for when she is in her exam. as well as doing this for her I go through the question step by step so that she understands the different steps that are needed to be taken for when she is answering them herself.
