my first song choice is :

https://youtu.be/RwUGSYDKUxU
This song is Imagine by John Lennon , in this song he speaks of world peace, bespeaks of loving thy neighbor. He says " imagine, just imagine". Notice that the song uses soft harmonies to aid his idea, to show how he wants people to think about this in a peaceful manner.
My second song is :
https://youtu.be/RsjiSfAmEeo
This song is Blowin in the Wind by Bob Dylan, in this song he also speaks of world peace, but he complains about the issue. he says why can't things be this way, why must they be this other worse way. whereas John pennon's song says can you imagine this. He also uses soft harmonies to get his ideas across, but the main focus in this song is the lyrics. he also uses a simple instrumentation.
my third song is :
https://youtu.be/Ukhc6NxolQU
This song is Dogs of War by Pink Floyd In this song he does the same thing from the other two sings, he also speaks of world peace, but he approaches it in a different way. He says this is the issue, and we have to just accept our ridiculously insane fate. He uses a violent , very rock style kind of harmony, is more violent about it. Pay attention to not only the lyrics but the violence in the mood of the song.

I would like to address ignorance to social issues, and how ignorant people are in this society. how people lose themselves in the world of technology, instead of paying attention to the outside world and see what is going on, what is happening.
- I would say that the most influential piece from my playlist is Imagine by John Lennon because of the style presented in the song. it is a form of peaceful protest, peaceful complaints.
-What genre will you be composing in? pop music
-What is the initial instrumentation of your piece (what instruments will you start using?) piano and maybe guitar.
