My picture is a person getting wet because of it raining. This shows how connotation and denotation can cause mood and tone. This is true because of this, think the clouds and rain are connotation and denotation ,and the person as mood and tone. This means that when it rains it causes the person to get wet.If you add in what before ,It is telling you that connotation and denotation can cause mood and tone. That is how my picture represents the relationship between connotation, denotation, mood and tone.

The drawing for connotation shows how the a kid can be described as and what are its negative and positive affects. Mood is similar because it is an emotion and how you personally feel when hearing the phrase. It is similar because you can think negatively or positively according to the tone and phrase. For denotation, I drew a picture of a person "hitting the hay" literally instead of going to sleep, which the phrase actually meant. Denotation is when you take the phrase literally. This shows examples of what connotation, denotation, and mood is to help someone visually learn what they are.

The picture in the first slide shows the difference in the tone and mood. Tone is the attitude towards something and the mood is how people react to it, how they feel about it. Tone always has a lot of details and facts but Mood on the other hand, has a lot of setting and imagery. The picture in the second slide shows the difference between connotation and denotation. Connotation is not the exact meaning, it has multiple meanings. It is the emotional meaning of the word.Denotation is the literal meaning which has the exact meaning. Denotation is the strict dictionary word, no multiple meanings. This is how my google drawing represents Connotation, Denotation, Tone and Mood.
