*The "sketchy" people from 111 under Elizabeth Bosquez checked out today.
*TODAY IS A GREAT DAY FOR IHG REWARD ENROLLMENTS. We have a lot of long term guests checking in today. work those fingertips.
Laundry went out today has not came back yet.
The reservation that is on the arrivals list for Lawrence Bickford is really for Todd Foster he will be arriving late tonight possibly as late as midnight.
Larry Bickford switched out the stuff that we were holding for him in the network room, I put the sticky notes on the new objects. He will have everything out of the network room on Thursday for sure.

* guest in 102 complained that the white trucks outside is backed up too much covering the sidewalk if we can ask them NOT to back up so much I did let gigi know but we have to find out who the drivers are first and let them know. She also said that room 103 is smoking too close to the doors at the end of the hall and would like him to go 25ft from the door. :)
*room 309 asked if Housekeeping can please clean his room after 1pm every day from here on out that is when he leaves for work!! Please let housekeeping know.
*room 320 did come down to let us know his phone rings but cant talk I did set up a wake up call for 0445am tomorrow but doesn't want his phone to be fixed until his day off.

*Let housekeeping know about 309 wanting housekeeping service after 1pm every day. *rm 320 came and let me know he was ready to have his phone fixed, Alex did fix it and he also put in a new desk chair for the guest as it wasn't keeping it's height when he would sit down. * Marcelo Ribeiro was in room 300 his new reservation is assigned to 304 as per note from night audit that he wanted to move rooms due to having problems opening his bathroom door. *There is already a shuttle log for tomorrow as I needed to put someone on for tomorrow morning at 11AM from HIE. * There are keys at the front desk for anyone from RECO (not sure how to spell it but that is how it sounds). They are the car keys that have Budget key chain on it. also has a post it that says RECO. * Robert Ward #221 no show from last night will be coming in today. * The cash drawer is short $21.59 as per Gigi please do not post until this amount is made up.

Quiet night @ Staybridge.
HIE had a guy rummaging through the concession room & kitchen. Sekai called me to call police because he was trying to get the man out of hotel. So I did, but by the time cops came the guy fled & left his bag @ hotel which was filled w/ syringes, meth kit a playstation & laptop. Sekai tried calling Mich, but was unable to get a hold of him. Other than that it was a pretty quiet night!
5 No Shows (4 rooms Thomas & 1 Ferguson) changed date on Thomas reservations for today (Wed. May 3rd) & made 4 mock reservations 2 under last name Lino, 1 under Israel & 1 under Justin (rooms 111, 203, 212 & 300. Ferguson rm 305. Gigi said she will take care of the mock reservations. Thank ya
I thought I c/iFerguson before audit, but apparently I did not. I do apologize! I will triple check next time.

*The Oquirr meeting room had a laptop and printer taken out of it last night. We all need to be extremely attentive to our surroundings. We are pretty sure we know who took the items out of the meeting room. It is a man with dark brown short hair, roughly 5" 9-10 inches tall, the female is short about 5"2-3 with long blonde hair about midway down her back, she usually has it pulled up. If you see them tonight at the evening social or anytime during your shifts please take note (if you possibly can, only in a safe way like looking at the cameras what room they are in, or if they are at the social please go in the back and contact the police letting them know. If you do end up calling the police the case number is 17I008777 (after the first 7 is an I as in Igloo). There is a separate case number for what happened at the HIE last night that Vika has if someone needs it.

*I was able to get payment for all 4 no show's that were under Blake Thomas. All 4 of the guest's came in this morning so they are all checked in now.
*Just want to say good team work to Eta and Sekai for last night. even though we are separate hotels it is really good for us to all work together to keep both hotels safety in mind for employees and guests.
*The other no show from last night Jacob Ferguson will be in tonight. Tyler emailed their company. We made a new reservation for him to check in tonight.

Guest Marcelo Ribeiro rm 304 came down w/ a dirty torn up rag & said it was left on top of his toothbrush & toothpaste which he had to throw away & thinks it possibly could have been left by HSK. He also stated that they did not renew the bath soaps & he was really annoyed by that. He said this is the first time this has ever happened & hopes it does not happen again because he likes staying w/ us. I reassured Marcelo it would not happen again & told him we would either discount his room or give him points. He said that would suffice.
Other than that YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!!!!!

-There was a man who came in looking for a reservation under the name "Lopez". Said he was with Mr. Bryan Baraza. We didn't have a reservation for him. There were apparently two more guys with their group, Industrial Kiln & Dryer, but we did not have reservations for them. Katinia AGM , took them over to Holiday Inn to see if they could accommodate for them.

Pretty quiet night!
FYI as I was setting up for breakfast. I opened the fridge door & the platter that had the pastries on it fell out & the corner chipped.
Guest Collin Bode rm 323 dropped off package that needs to be sent out. He said he does not want us to charge his room. He will pay for shipping cost when he comes back from work! (package on counter by shuttle clip board)
This morning around 6:20am 2 caucasian males came in from the north side door (breakfast area) & walked out the front door 1 of them was the guy from last night (black hoodie, hat & backpack. The other guy I have seen before here @ our hotel he had a white tank top & jeans on. I asked them they to leave & they did!

Colette Bosman was checked into RM 134 with her family. They came down and complained about a broken thermostat. I called Alex to go take a look at the thermostat. Alex went to try to fix it but said there was no immediate fix. We moved Colette Bosman into RM 339 and will accomodate for the other guest with Embassy Suites since we are full house. However, DO NOT BOOK RM 134 until the thermostat is fixed.

*Adan passed down to me that there are keys and a badge that says Stryker on it in the drawer just left of the cash register. they are for room 214, guest also has some kitchen items he wants us to hold onto until he comes back in June, the stuff is in a Smith's grocery sack with a paper stapled to it that says 214. I put it on Nia's desk. *#322 Peter Bailey called down this morning and complained about banging noises on their wall at 8:30am, It was Alex putting up shelves so I asked him to stop until later since the guest got in so late last night. *Karla Winters in #102 came to the desk again this morning to complain about the trucks and parking over the sidewalk blocking half of it. she said if nothing is done she will start leaving her dog crap around their trucks. *Latia's shower is going on in the meeting room until 5pm tonight. *Pretty quiet Saturday, especially for a sold out night. *We kicked some people out of the hotel today, one male & 1 female. Description: white male, late 20's early 30's, blue jeans, grey tank top, hat tilted to side, shaved head. White female, mid 30's, shoulder length blondish redish hair color, blue capri jeans, grey zip up hoodie. They tried lying telling me her brother is a guest in our hotel, rm 212 name is either Sean or Michael Henderson, no one in hotel listed under this name, the guest in rm 212 is one of the Rio Tinto guys, she also told me their car was stolen. I asked them to leave watched them go out the back side around the holiday inn, Lusi was leaving at this time and drove around the parking lot, saw them sitting in a parked car over at My Place. *Justin was pretty busy this morning, wants us to pass onto Mele when she get's in to please take out the trash from around the building as he was not able to get to it. *I put a cell phone charger that was found in #217 today on Nia's desk. It belongs to Rebecca Sorensen, I contacted her and she asked if we could please hold onto it until she comes back the end of June. *A letter for Christopher Skaggs came in today I put it in Tylers box over in Vikas office area.

*kicked another person out today. description: young (late teens maybe early 20's) black male, definitely over 6 ft. tall, blue jeans, black shirt, short hair. *Collin Bode's package has not gone out in the mail as there is no form of postage on the package. He needs to take it to the post office to get it weighed, unfortunately we can not do this form him. I called his room and left a message to contact the front desk and maybe we can help in get it taken care of in someway. I ended up speaking with Mr. Bode and he took his package to the post office to get it sent out. *With guest's Maria Katsaros, Francisco Lapostol & Robert McCrae please make sure to WELCOME BACK TO OUR HOTEL, & for Floyd Herman and Mike Mahns would be great targets for IHG enrollment. -Karla Winters in RM 102 came down to get new keys complaining about how it never works. Guest demanded a new room or she will look for a new hotel. Guest requests 1st floor ONLY. I submitted a maintenance request to check her key lock. The batteries may be dead or something may be wrong with it.
-**Big black like garbage bag in back office is filled with clothes AM shift on 05/09/2017 PLEASE make sure you call Jardines Dry cleaning to pick it up let them know its the wash and fold @ 2$ a pound they are doing for Industrial Kiln that was agreed with Vika. It was picked up at 10AM, they said it will be back later today, laundry is already back at 3:30pm, guest Alan Foust has been charged, his clothes are still at the FD as we need to get a form of payment for his laundry charges. All his clothes are in the white bags where we keep packages at* Such a quiet day, we are oversold tonight, the holiday Inn is holding 2 rooms for Mike Arneson and Ben Volk. Their reservations are all set up over there. We have 2 keys for them for our hotel so they can come over and have breakfast here and come to the social if they would like. the keys are at the front desk with their names on the key packets *Jennifer Yeom in 200 was supposed to check out today and left all her belongings in the room. She is with the other guests that are with the Airforce, if anyone speaks to her in person or by phone please try to find out what date she will be actually checking out. Quiet throughout the night, but crazy morning!
Guest Mark White rm 135 car was broken in to. I apologized & asked that they fill out incident report to the best of their knowledge & also called WVC police (non emergency line) Mark & his wife were both livid. Wife said that she heard quite a bit of talk about the car thefts in our parking lot & the random homeless druggies that come through our hotel & suggested that we hire security. I told her we were working on it. They were both just very upset & asked if there is any way they would be able to roll the tapes for the west side parking lot (back of hotel) near pool & they asked to speak to Gigi. If any of you have any questions or find out anything pertaining to White's vehicle please call WVC non emergency line #801-840-4000 give them Case # 17I009418.

Gustavo Garcia came in after I ran audit. I did not completely check him in & I did not want him to wait because he was extremely tired so I put him in room 319 & explained to him that he wld have to c/o & check back in later today once rooms become available. *Kellie Richins came to pick up her laptop this morning I did check her ID before I gave it to her. *Pretty slow quiet day. *Please do not give out late checkouts later than 2PM, this should only be done if authorized through a manager. It makes it hard on hskp. with this late of checkouts. *Kevin Chamberlain arrving today has 2 reservations, I think one of them might be a duplicate. I tried to call the phone number on file on one of them and it just goes to his company so please verify with guest at check in if he needs one or two. **RM 206 was charged for 9 wristbands today at the time of checkin but the slide was closed by then. Called for a full refund. I tried to call April 2x to make sure guests weren't lying. The guest brought down all 9 wristbands unused and they didnt check in until 4pm so I told them we would refund their credit card at time of checkout.***

* Anthony Beattie w/ Sunny Beach Consulting rm 212 came down & asked if CC Auth has been attached to his res. I told him I did receive it & that I wld attach it. As soon as I authorized CC for rm & tax it declined. I then called Mr. Beattie & explained to him what the card was doing & he said his company had lots of holds on card & AMEX gave them an auth code for us which they did include on their fax to hotel. I then told him he wld have to come down tomorrow morning & speak to GM or FOM about that. (Auth Forms are in CC Auth book in front pocket) So please be expecting him. THANKS

* Ms. Winters called down to let us know when she walked her dog yesterday morning she came across an individual that looked very suspicious to her. He then walked to his suv (Gold Dodge Durango) w/ windows all down. She thinks he is staying in his car. This morning she walked her dog & seen the same individual w/ the same clothes on from yesterday. She felt very uneasy & unsafe to walk her dog if there are people living in their cars in our parking lot. She also said she knows something was not right about him because she works @ the hospital & knows there are people with mental issues in this area.

* I walked the premises & did see the same suv w/ no individual inside. I called the WVC non emergency line to see if they wld be able to come out & take a look @ the car & possibly talk to the individual, but I just got a recording & left a message for them to call us back ASAP! I still have not heard from them

*Joel Torres in #204 came down & changed his checkout date from 5/26 to 5/25, then told me that he wanted to extend it. he said he spoke with someone yesterday about it, I was confused so he said he will come back later and talk to whoever he spoke with last night. *Tim Davern checked into room 202 was a no show last night with no FOP & no # on file to contact so I checked guest out. *#207 Peter Soza was supposed to check out today and left his stuff in the room, Nia spoke with him and we extended another 3 nights. *#218 Thomas McMillan had a consecutive reservation for today, checked him out and back in, needs to sign new reg. card and probably needs his keys remade. *212 either needs to provide a valid MOP for all charges or needs to leave the hotel. I spoke with the guest this morning letting him know that the cc auth we received is not going to work, it is a pre-paid card, he said he would be right down and never came so I locked him out of his room. NO MATTER WHAT WE NEED PAYMENT TODAY!!! *Gary found a black phone in the van today it is at the front desk near the phone printer.

RM 212 Vika check your email this guest says his company contacted you about extending his res and moving to a rm with 2 beds or a 2 bedrm suite because another colleague will be coming to stay with him. Same guest having issues with fridge door staying closed so all his food went bad overnight but is ok for now just wanted us to know that it isnt working properly.
RM 213 and 135 are already checked in and swiped CC but rooms were not ready. Guest in 218 requested 2 keys for his wife and son I left them on the far right side by the pens with a sticky note

*#304 called down at 7:20 AM they did not have a shower curtain in the bathroom. Brian helped out and took it and put it up for the guest. *3 of the Industrial Kiln guys checked out early with me today it was 211, 229 & 321. Claudia also found 305, 337, & 338 vacant (also with Industrial Kiln) so we checked them out as well. Ok so Claudia found 2 more rooms that were vacant yesterday to it was 123 & 336, checked them out as well. *#227 Jacinta called down this morning requesting housekeeping service but did not want them to touch the bed, I relayed this info. to Claudia. *Deshaun Caudell stayed in 109 last night, multiple complaints about his room, stains on the floor, T.V. not working, etc...I discounted his room rate for last night for him then he wanted to extend, we don't have any O2DN's available for tonight, I let him know that he would have to move to a K1QN, he was fine with it, I had him check 129 before going into that room (so I know that it was up to par for him) I asked him how the room was and he said it was fine. Have been told by other employees though that every time he stays he complains. *Adan left a note about a bag being left in 337, Claudia searched the room and did not find anything. I called guest to let him know. *2 arrivals coming in today state they will have pets with them so I already put the pet waiver with the reg cards for Victor Armenta & Heather Jetton. *Pretty busy day all around.

**The theatre was booked up today but the 5pm-7pm reservation cancelled. We had a family belonging to room 236 come in around 5:20 requesting to use the theatre room. I let them know that by 7pm there will be another reservation waiting for the room and they understood. By 7:00pm the other room showed up and I told them by 7:15 they should be done. However, the movie was not done by 7:15, so I interrupted the movie and they were very understanding. I let them know that they could use the theatre room tomorrow AFTER checkout. They are reserved to use the theatre room tomorrow from 12pm-2pm.

**RM 317 at check-in said that he had difficulties booking through IHG online. He tried booking a T2TN however one minute it would say available and the next it would read unavailable. He said he tried that numerous time. I told him we didn't have an upgrade available for today or tomorrow but that if he really wanted to, to come in tomorrow morning to see if anything changed.,

Guest checked in w/ Nani & said that she is suppose to get 2 queen beds. Nani explained to her it is upon availability & our full paying guests get those type of rooms first & we did not have any available. She was upset went up to room & came back down & said her pull out had urine stains. Nani then moved her to room 129. I (Eta) took over shift & guest came back down & said pullout bed was gross & full of urine stains & she would not allow her kids to sleep on that. I apologized several times & told her we only had 3 rooms left & showed her rooms 300, 235, & 317. She did not like any of them. She then said she was just going to stay in room 129 because her family is very tired & we needed to comp her room due to the uncleanliness of pullout beds. I did agree to comp her room because she was extremely picky & difficult & I needed to cater to our other guests. I then told Vika & she told me change rate back to employee rate $59 & let Gigi look in to it & she can make the final decision.

*Guest Janine Dazet called down around 12:30am & said there were boys on bball court playing & can I please ask to them to stop. I sincerely apologized & told her I would get right on it & if there is anything else I could do for her? She said just to get them to stop. I went outside & asked them what room # they are in & they said they are from the apts. I then told them in a kind way, but also very FIRM the court is for our guests ONLY & they are not allowed to play on it. They apologized & went on their merry way.

* Had to kick a woman out who was trying to sleep in the southeast stairwell. She left w/ no problems.

*Room 131 Paul Skaggs called FD @ 5:25am said that room 129 (Mark Urry) was extremely loud & had kept him up all night & if I did not do anything about it he was going to beat the living crap out of them (YIKES) & if they were staying another night he wanted to be moved. I apologized & told him I would take care of it. I then called to room 129 a girl answered & I told her we have received a complaint that they were a bit noisy & it needed to stop immediately. She said OK. I have not received anymore complaints since then.
