Pacific Islands are tied into a greater “we”, closer to the ocean and closer to our environment than most.
The world is responsible for the incredible destruction, so the world should be fixing and repairing the problem.
The UN is not holding itself or others accountable.
We should keep being loud about the damage and impact being done.
We are rooted in this land, and our land is disappearing. 
Our roots are afloat.
