In the Declaration of Independence they never talked about how women had rights. They always said he can do this and that but never she or her.

All of this gives are great explanation of how the Declaration of Independence failed and did not keep their promise. Even though in the document it states that it is for the rights and independence of people in the nation. Women were thought as nothing less than just a love machine, as I would describe. The declaration failed to show is meaning of freedom and rights has not all people had their choice to have them or not.

As we all know slavery has been long gone but there was many things that happened to get to when it all ended. Fugitive Slave Act was a selfish move from the government. It was a law that was passed was that, African-American people could’ve been simply free by escaping to a free state, but they should return to their owners (or master holders). The article even states that this action was cruel and unneeded as the South already saw the end of slavery coming to a fall.

In the decisions they made it that no black person become a member of society, and that slavery could be expanded to further territory and so forth. Supreme court declared them as property. They felt like only white males could have freedom, they even stated that in the declaration of independence it says “all men are created equal”. Which they said did not include black people. Which meant that they would exclude black people.

Slavery became a big problem, and the Declaration of Independence failed. The document was to protect those who live here to have rights freedom and peace but partially that was wrong. Everyone except blacks were not able to get have a say in things. The video about how African-American people feel about 4th of July compared to us is much different because they don't feel the same as we do. They don't feel like back than that they really had the freedom that every other person got. The declaration of independence states about how there is equality and liberty and to pursuit happiness, but with slave codes and being brutally worked. So the question is were slaves able to happy, did they live in happiness?

We know that Native Americans go by their name they were the people here before us they were the ones we first met when we first step on new land. Their has been conflict with the Native Americans and the new people for a long time. Conflict between trust and violence to land and territory.

This one and slavery were really, yes about the Declaration of Independence and how it failed but also how the people of this nation failed and how they were so unfair and so cruel to others that had lived here and the impact that they would put on society. It is good that we learn about both good things and bad things about our country because we would be missing out on lots of information and unquestionable theories. The Declaration of Independence will always be a huge piece of our history and our rights that we now have today but we have to remember that it was really all true and with these three statements, it is clear the indeed the Declaration of Independence was for sure unfair and in many ways failed.
