1) they referred back to the text when bringing up a point. They also bounced off of each others ideas to keep the flow of the conversation. They also used background information to help prove points, and give a stronger statement. Everyone also talks and has a part contributing to the conversation.

2) They should not only ask more questions, but when they ask questions make sure its not just something straight from the text. They should also try to make some inforences and predict what might happen in the future based on the chapters actions. They should also try to refer back to the txt more, in the video they do refer back to he text but not as much as they should of.

They speak without interrupting one another, and the also try to build off the thoughts and ideas that were presented by other people in the group by using "I agree". When a student has a opinion that differes from one of their peers, they are very respectful and don't scream or just straight up deny it. They instead give their opinion on the topic and why they believe about the topic at hand. Help out peers that have a misunderstanding, or don't completely understand a part. They go more indepth as the time continue on. Something they could have improved upon is by trying to encourage some of the other students that were not talking as much, there looked as if there was one or two very dominant students in the discussion which then made some of the stundents, that may be a little bit more timid due to the fact they may have some confusion on a certain section of the book, and it limits their ability to talk. All of the students furthermore, were also very well prepared and it felt like they truly know what the book is about and etc.

1) Uses specific details from the book and uses transitions words to make it flow better. Also, there is things like I agree or I disagree, to continue the conversation from one person to another. Additionally, they also talk about topics very maturely and don't do anything inappropriate when others are speak. They also use deeper thinking and wait for others to finish speaking before they talk. They give background context if new ideas are being introduced. Also, they are respectfully explaining ideas which may be confusing or interpreted in different ways.
2)Although they did a good job not speaking over each other at the beginning, they stopped doing it after a while. So, they should be continue not speaking over others. Also, they could have used specific quotes from the book instead of paraphrasing details from the book. They should do this because it would make their opinions stronger and more detailed.

- In the Socratic seminar no one talked over each other. In addition, they had meaningful conversations without being called on. They started their sentences with phrases like "I agree..." and variations of "And to add on..." They also continued to use higher level thinking in the conversation and used hypothetical Level 3 questions. When people ask these questions, others respectfully answer them and do not get off topic.
- Towards the middle and through till the end, they reached a point of being slightly informal and cutting off others.

-The students added on to each others comments, and agreed and added more evidence/information.
-The conversation flowed easily from person to person, and nobody interrupted one another's thoughts. -They showed why they personally believe why someone did something, in their own opinion. ------They also always support their thoughts with reasoning, often using words like "because". Students stayed on task and were well focused.
-It did not look like most of them had any notes written down, which would make the conversation more successful.
-I think they were able to talk maturely and take it seriously
-they respected their peers
- I also recommend that they challenge their thinking more and make more diverse statements, you don't always have to agree.

-Students helped each other when they struggled to verbalize ideas.
-Students started sentences with meaningful conversation starters (i.e. "I agree because...")
-Spoke with maturity about tough topics (i.e. Sunny and Holden's experiences with her); no giggling or foolishness.
-Asked clarifying questions throughout (i.e. "I wonder...)
-Made frequent reference to the text and paraphrased big ideas and scenes.
-A couple of suggestions I would make to these students would be that everyone should have their materials out and perhaps have notes prepared to speak from/refer to.

-I think that the discussion was satisfactory becasue there would be pauses in between when people were talking and others would not reallly help each other for forming ideas, but they did discuss all the questions
-Their spoken contributioon and verbal behavior was satisfactory becuase everoyne did participate, but the way that they verbally behaved wasnt well developed.
-The one one thing that suprised me was that most people did not think that this punishment was acceptable and that their books were ot appropraite for the readings
-I wish I could resond to the questions that were beiing asked about weather the book they are reading is accepable or not.
-I would reccomend more participation for certian people ad follow up questions
