Plants in society and environment

Plants are at the core of our existence as humans. With every breath in and out we partake in a symbiotic relationship with plants. We give them Co2 and they give us O, Each group needs one or the other to survive. The idea that a leaf can take in rays from the sun to make food and air for us to breath is amazing.

I chose this Animation because of the visual it gives. I think it demonstrates the role of the chlorophyll really well. With the combination of CO2, H2O, and Light the chlorophyll breaks down these elements to make ATP. While also releasing Sugar and Oxygen. The chlorophyll is detrimental to the process of Photosynthesis.

Before the neolithic revolution humans were mostly hunter gatherers, They adapted to the environment. But now they make the environment adapt to them because of agriculture becoming common. With not having to migrate people start to build homes and city in select areas. This will increase populations as well because of the abundance of food.
