Mode of Interaction

On mobile, YouTube’s interaction is well structured. When I don't have a specific learning purpose, I can just swipe to browse videos randomly. When my learning purpose is clear, relevant search and tags drive me to an accurate destination.

The design of this app takes environmental factors into account. Not only can I read online with this app, but I can also download the articles to my phone to read offline. This feature comes in handy since my phone often loses internet connection on the subway. With the ability to download articles, I can read wherever I am without worrying about losing my internet connection.

One limitation of the app I think is that it's not community-based. There is no room for readers to provide comments and share views with each other. Cons: Sometimes it does not appear to be secure enough for data storage. One time my document I can't delete it by mistake and it took me four days to retrieve everything on that page, so imagine if you lost a whole set of documents and it will be a headache to get it back. Also, you cannot set restrictions and everything is wide open to anyone who has access to your account, therefore you can't put a confidential information in it frivolously.
