Topic: US and Iraq war.

The same session with the same topic would cont.. for the next week.

The young delegates discussed on the topic - USA and Iraq war -It was prepared well with hot debates on invasion , its authority over the war issue and justification further was made by delegate of USA.

The up coming delegates tried hard to involve themselves .

In next session the delegates will be drafting and passing resolution on the same topic.

Pictures on the session.: Today's session was fruitful, and the topic of debate was dissected and examined from different perspectives. Participation is still not adequate, but the MUN culture is learnt with time and experience. Overall, it was an interesting debate, with enthusiastic debaters and a controversial topic. Reflection of the students going for DIAMUN:

Aaditya's views: I believe that apart from a few students, nobody has understood the topic and its relation to international law and jurisdiction. This committee has bit part turned into a blame game and has become the exact opposite of what an MUN should be. Through proper intervention, the committee was brought under control. The students are willing to learn but are not putting in enough effort to understand the topic and what it requires them to think up.

Shubhika's views: Today we understood the importance of drafting resolutions in MUN. it was a really informative session. it even helped me understand the importance of environmental sustainability and perspectives of different countries on this issue.

Srishti's views: This is my first MUN all over, thus I Srishti Mansharamani tried to understand the rules and regulations and the importance of being confident. Today's topic was about environmental sustainability, it helped me understand the importance of the same from the point of view of all the county's in the committee.

Sreevidya's views: As I am going to DIAMUN next week, I found this MUN session truly productive and it was adequate practice for the upcoming MUN. I found it informative and helped me revise and recollect MUN rules of procedures and so on, for the upcoming MUN. Overall i found it refreshing and interesting!

Amisha's views:This session has been one of the very enthusiastic mock session i have attended . having Aditya geed as a chair is always a opportunity to discover new ways to debate . discussing on a a topic such as environmental sustainability makes you aware to your role as citizens of the world .

Prachi's views: This MUN session has been very interesting as the topic was discussed about the world's environment sustainability. Learning about different opinions of different countries was very informative. 

Priyanka's views: Its been a great experience overall. We're given a demo sessions so that we enhance our skills. The topic discussed today was a very interesting and debatable but this being my first session I found it very appealing.

Yuvraj's views: Its been a great experience overall. We're given a demo sessions so that we enhance our skills.it even helped me understand the importance of environmental sustainability and perspectives of different countries on this issue.

Mohit's views: This is my first MUN, thus I understand the rules. Today's session was really productive and important for me as I learned all the important stuff about MUN. I would like to thank Gurvinder ma'am and Aditya geed. Learning about different countries was very productive.

Students reflection for the 1st day of MUN club:

We briefed the new students about MUN and showed power point presentation and videos. Later we were given a topic "Should US intervene in Iraq's internal affairs" and also given countries which are in the UNHRC. - Prachi  Reflection.

Rusheek Rawal's reflection:
As my first meet in the MUN club, i really enjoyed it.I know that it will help me in the future to speech about current affairs and maybe even get to work in the UN for my country. Even though it was my first day, I participated a little and thin if this counties the i will be a major speaker in the debate.
