Student Enterprise, junior intermediate and senior. All staff and students invited to the Christmas Market ran by the students 
School bank, students got to experience 'running a bank' 
Involved in EPAS teachers and students ambassadors, MEP's come to visit events throughout the year

One of the 8 principles that underpin the JC Framework for Business Studies is being numerate. Business studies should provide students with opportunities to be numerate. Being numerate involves seeing patterns, trends and relationships.

Whole-School InitiativesNumeracy:
We will incorporate any related school wide initiatives that support being numerate. eg Students will work out their own percentage when given back a graded piece of work. Students will use the SALT technique when drawing graphs.

Relevance for Business Studies Classroom Based Assessments Calculations for wage slips, household budgets, Preparing accounts and interpretation of financial accounts
Economic indicators identifying patterns and trends. Economic variables - inflation, unemployment, taxation etc
