"leadership vision and management style, the level of social capital throughout the school, pedagogy, policy and practice. It is what people communicate and how they do it. It is how people feel as well as what they do" ( Roffey, 2015).
This involves the whole school community!

The fantastic opportunity for inclusion and building positive relationships. This will add a huge amount to moving student agency forward.  
9. An increased guidance around international mindedness will helpfully allow this area to develop on a much deeper level. Incorporating agency, action and the learner profile will help with this. 
10. Leadership will open up more voices to be heard, this will also help drive student agency in schools. 
11. The learning spaces are so important for the students. By promoting flexible spaces which support not only inquiry but both physical and emotional well-being, students will be able to feel a sense of belonging and support.

The role of ICT - this will require, in some schools, more planning and resourcing. Student's wellbeing will also need to be a consideration in ensuring technology is being used appropriately. 
7. Inclusion - ensuring schools are able to support learners who face additional difficulties and in some contexts, that all stakeholders have a shared understanding of what this is. 
8. Policies - ensuring that the governance and boards are all familiar with IB guidelines and that time is given to staff and stakeholders to develop these.
