Anglo-Americans wanted to get more land for their, agriculture, and resource extraction, with often treaties that were not always negotiated in good terms. This led to the removal of Native American tribes from their own lands.

Broken treaties: Many treaties and agreements between the two parties were broken or changed by the government and settlers, leading to loss of trust and tension between one another.

How much of these issues could be attributed to a clash of perspectives?

The Anglo-American perspective wanted westward expansion, economic development, and land ownership.
