         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cold liquids can sequester compounds such as CO2, but as sea temperatures rise, the amount they can sequester reduces and leads to increased levels of Carbonic Acid in the  Ocean and leads to more severe Ocean Acidification.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Due to the increased amount of CO2 being released into the atmosphere because of fossil fuels and land usage, the pH of surface ocean waters has fallen by 0.1 pH units. Calculations of future CO2 levels indicate that by the end of the century the surface waters of the ocean could be 150%  more acidic, causing pH levels that haven't been seen for more than 20 million years. The effects of ocean acidification can cause major changes in aquatic ecosystems, one of the most blaring examples is the coral bleaching of the great barrier reef. With all this said, ocean acidification can cause major problems since the whole world depends on the ocean but as it becomes more acidified the world couldn't function </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Another example of ocean acidification is coral bleaching. Due to the exponential increase of CO2 over the last 200 years, there is more carbonic acid in our oceans which causes bleaching, an event in which organisms like coral cannot build their shells due to how acidic the water is. This causes coral to lose their pigments which give them their color, turning our beautiful reefs into baron underwater landscapes. </div>]]></description>
