This book was amazing. I loved it throughout the entire book. It set a darker tone for the trouble of the main character and her decent of mood. It grasped my attention and held it with every sentence being another cliffhanger to go off. one of my favorite parts was the friend, Chard, who went against the law and visited her whenever he could. He protected and encouraged her to get better by taking down a guy who got grabby and visiting her in the hospital. He was court ordered not to get near her, but he still did it and its very admiring.

Psychological Issue

I believe this book had an excellent depiction of what someone would go through in this situation. The main character was depressed and had been committing a passive 🤬 without realizing it. I believe it depicts the hardships of this situation and its effects on the psych of a person. The emotion and the hurt shows with every word that the protagonist speaks. Her frustration, her sadness, her fatigue, and everything else she feels about what she is going through.

Do I Recommend This book

I would definitely recommend this book for a more mature audience and those interested in the hardship of others. The book makes you sympathetic of the protagonist and her troubles she is facing. I think the book would be better for a more mature audience because some may find it boring. I, however, found it fascinating and a very good read.
