I found a great motivational video that covers some of our topics. 10 minutes. It grabbed their attention. Steve Jobs speaking to a graduating class. Very interesting views. https://youtu.be/Tuw8hxrFBH8?si=5LbrxCVT98-egW5L

My group is very quiet overall and does not like sharing, so I choose at least 1 part of each lesson where they are given time to think of their answer, and then I snake through everyone for a response. I also make sure I always go first to help break the tension.

I have a lot of introverts that typically aren't willing to open up to larger groups, so I split them into smaller groups to help break some of that discomfort. I have found that we finish early on somedays, maybe as a result of students not feeling comfortable sharing and discussing as a group.
