There would be an increase of engagement from students which would lead to more students wanting to achieve the goal. There would be a lot more collaboration leading to more ideas.

Students would have more meaning because it increases their attention and focus and moves them to more critical thinking.

The collective agency between all parties would greatly benefit from this because everyone would be in tune with each and every piece of the collaboration process. It would also help with motivation.

It allows students to be confident in what they believe in and speak up. Would help validate what they have learned throughout the process and make it all much more credible.

Students who are engaged in their own learning and take ownership of their learning will be more likely to learn, grow and take action. They will also be likely to influence others in the class with their enthusiasm which could strengthen the actions of many the students.

When students are engaged and eager to learn they value and remember what they learn. They make more effort and in the process learn more.

It's no secret that when a person is interested or engaged in what they are learning, they are motivated to learn more which often leads to doing something about it, such as sharing their learning with others, bringing attention to a cause, helping to solve a problem... all of which are action.

Adding the focus of "engagement leads to action" affects all parts of the school system. Through shared goals, the problem-solving process, and open communication, students and staff are more likely to feel like true stakeholders, leading to a better response to action.

This could lead to increased meaning for students by opening up more discussions for "why". Why are we doing this? Why should I care? When a reason resonates with a student, they're more likely to be engaged in discussions and present their own thoughts and ideas for action that's genuine.
