There isn't much about the family she hid. However, she hid the family in a mosque which is a place of worship or prayer in most meaning. She hid the family in March, 1943. The family had six members all together. They were hidden for about a year before she had to help them flee. Only later on was she reunited with two of the family members.

When Melpomeni was reunited with the family she said "now I can die quietly" which meant she didn't have to keep speaking about it. Why? because now she knows they're still alive. They can tell the story and make sure it never happens again.

Melpomeni had to share food with the family. Even though they're being six of them. Her and her sisters washed their clothes. Even gave them medicine. However, when a six-year-old boy of the Jewish family got very sick she had to take him to the hospital even at the risk of being exposed. Sadly, the little boy passed away in the hospital. After that she helped the family flee from the country in different directions.

I believe this song would fit her perfectly. Why? Because this song is from the "Hunger Games'. This song is a symbol of freedom and strength. However, the movie is about risks. She and her sisters had enough strength to help the family. The freedom later on when the Holocaust ended. Risk because she could have been killed if Germans found out about her.

I know this one may seem a little weird. However, I think this song fits well. The lyrics say "Me and the devil, walking side by side" to me that symbolizes the Germans walking down the street. Melpomeni had to walk past them to do things and get things done.
