A: It's hot and dry there so people were using more water than people in a colder state would, and since it was dry water might have been evaporating faster than it was being generated.

A: There is less water for watering plants, bathing, and animals.
A: People have to start using 25% less fresh water.
A: More dry heat.
3. Brainstorm possible solutions to the drought problem in California, you may reference some of the solutions discussed in the reading, but try to come up with your own ideas as well.
A: People should try digging deep into the ground, because it is so deep down it probably hasn't been affected as much as surface bodies of water.
