Many people suffer from mental health, which could lead to Mental Illnesses such as anxiety, depression, bipolar and more. Mental disorders can make you feel hopeless and disrupt your daily life, such as at school, work, or while seeing others. Generally, manifestations should be treated with a combination of medications and therapy. Some people are suffering, and you will never know because they are suffering and battling in silence. Overall, mental health is just as important as physical health and should be treated and taken seriously as any other health problem because it can affect and ruin someone’s life.

"How are you? Are you okay? Is there something that I could help with? You are worth it." Those lines might be short and simple, but it makes a difference. There are many ways you can help a friend, family member, or colleague who is struggling with their mental health. People should educate themselves about mental health illness, such as the symptoms and what to do because it might be confusing to others on what they should do and could also trigger their mental illness. Checking on your friends, family members, or other people is one of the most important things to do. People can check others by asking them how they are or if they needed help. Make them feel that you care and always there for them. Give them time to open up, respect their decision, and do not pressure them. Listen carefully to them and encourage them to get treatment. All of these can make a big difference and have a great effect on others.

Mental Illness was once something that no one wanted to discuss as if it were a prohibited word, and when they did, it was in their last moments before death. But with the help and awareness of social media, people are speaking up, and some even advocate it. We can change the way the world sees mental health if we work together. We will keep the mental health movement going by speaking up, sharing our experiences, and letting people know that they are not alone.
