Hey! My name is Amber Liebhart. I am 25 years old. I have always wanted to become a teacher since a very young age! I went to Missouri Western State University. My major was in Elementary Education, emphasis in Reading, and a minor in Athletic Coaching. I came back to my hometown and commute 30 minutes to Green City, Missouri, where I have taught contained 6th grade for two years and assisted coaching the girls' Jr. High Basketball for one year. There is a good chance of me becoming the High School Softball coach for this coming fall! I love to read, craft, play with my puppy, and be out on the farm during my free time. I work at my parents' hay equipment business in the summers.

How I have used technology in my personal life is not a very broad range. I am always searching the Internet for teaching resources, and have Facebook and Pinterest accounts that I use. I have a Twitter account, but rarely visit it. I do these things on my laptop, tablet, or Smartphone.

Our technology at work is very lacking. We do have SmartBoards in every classroom. There are three student computers in the upper elementary classrooms and two student computers in the lower elementary classrooms. To be able to stream any videos, I need to have them loaded early in the morning to decrease the buffering when playing the videos. I did order an Air Liner to use interactively with my SmartBoard this school year. However, I think that our technology will slowly improve. This past week, we got hot spots installed into each classroom. Having these hot spots will help support having IPADS/Tablets in the classrooms. There is just one IPAD in the school, but cannot hardly be used because of the Internet. Hopefully, with the newly installed hot spots, it will change the use of our technology. I want to be able to incorporate IPADS/Tablets in my classroom in the near future!
