Padlet is not the best choice if an

instructor wants students to create a detailed Wiki

with a great deal of text, but can be very effective if the

goal is to create an interesting “resource wall” with

a variety of types of content. The teacher can ask students/

groups to prepare and present a Padlet on a topic chosen

from a list the teacher provides.

The benefits of microblogging is based primarily in the possibility of giving immediate feedback, and in the recording of writing processes. The use of microblog in writing skills  development is important because students are always motivated to write and post texts. With an additional and concrete teachers’ instructions, they can ask questions, and provide feedback to the classmates/peers. Also, this allows students to be better prepared for  classroom collaborative work and effective discussions which enhances speaking skills and proficiency.  Class journal:
