La county Fair - May

I went to the fair twice in 2024. The first time, I went alone because I couldn't return the ticket—the Second being with my family and Kiki. Both times I had a lot of fun but I loved going with Kiki. Me and I went on a lot of rides together. I almost went deaf from how much she was screaming on every ride we went on. It was also scary because she was meeting my entire family. But, they all ended up liking her. My sister loved her the most and didn't want to send a moment away from her. We walked around and got food together. We had gotten some chili cheese fries. My favorite part of the fair was The Lowriders. Every car was super beautiful in its way. Overall I loved going to the fair this year.

Southern Life Customs-July

In June I got the opportunity to work at a body shop. I'm so glad I took it because I got to learn a lot. The first day I showed up there wasn't anything to do so I observed my boss work on a 68 impala. He was sanding down the clear coat and getting it ready to buff out. After he had buffed the panel he was working on, it came out shiny and smooth to the touch. I also got to work on some cars, Sanding and buffing, And even working on engines. Although I didn't get paid that much I still loved going to learn new things that I could use later on. I also liked making memories with everyone. Such as one time we went on a 3-hour-long trip to find some metal sponge, We got burgers after which was good since I hadn't eaten anything the whole day. I also loved all the new connections I had made with people my boss knew. I hope I can go next year and be an official apprentice and get paid a bit more so I can get my necessities and anything I may want.

Baby kittens - April

In April, I found out my cat had another litter of kittens. I was delighted and couldn't wait for them to grow up. She had 4 girls and 1 boy. They were small amounts but bigger than the last litter she had. She had five kittens in total, and I named three of them. One of the kittens I named Simba because she has a mark on her forehead like him. Another kitten was fluffy and mostly white so I called her Snowball. She was a friendly kitten and would always follow me around and wait for me outside my door. Every time I would work out she would always be near me. She sadly passed away because she got sick and I miss her every single day. another kitten looked exactly like Simba but she didn't have a mark on her forehead and was smaller. Her name was Chilli since she loved to relax everywhere she was.

Football Game- August

The first football game of the school year was excellent. While we waited for the game to start, I was invited to Wingstop to get pizza. While walking down my friends and I were messing around and having fun. We had our shirts off since it was 95 degrees while we were walking down. It was refreshing when we first did it. At the bottom of the hill, one of my friends wanted to get a slushy from Sonic. He got in a shopping cart from the Walmart parking lot and tried to go through the drive-thru. We got in trouble with security and got told to leave but my friend did end up getting his slushy. then we walked to Wingstop and just sat down since we had been walking for so long. My friends ordered their food and ate and even shared some with a guy outside. After going to Wingstop and getting pizza we had to walk back up the hill which was very tiring but was worth it in the end because we all had a lot of fun.

Victoria Gardens-December

For a week, I went to Victoria Gardens every day and ate different foods from the food court. I liked most places, but some could have used more work. My favorite food I had was a burrito. It was the perfect amount of everything. Eating wasn't the only thing I did. I went to almost all the stores and looked at all their options. I only got a few things though. I got a pair of shorts that are very comfortable. I also got a shirt that in my opinion has a very nice design on it.
