Year: 1765-1783

The 13 states which, in that time, lay in “America” and was a part of England, wanted to become their own country. They started a war in protest of the taxes and under the war the states declared that they had the rights to be independent from England.

After a war of 8 years the colonists finally won and started to work on the constitution that should unite the 13 states into the United States of America.

The reason why they wanted to be free was because after the 7-year war, England wanted a lot of money because they lost a lot of money on the war. So, they taxed the American colonies a lot of money and whenever the colonies tried to peacefully protest, they were shut down by the British military.

Seeing that the protests didn’t work the colonists decided to ramp up the violence resulting in a war to relieve taxes. The war gradually turned into a revolution against the British empire with the goal of making a new country. In the end they won, and the colonists made their own country, the United States of America.

The people that lived in so called “united states of America” were called the indigenous people. Some indigenous people were neutral and said that it was a “white man’s war”. But 200.000 indigenous people from Philadelphia and Mississippi were not happy with the American laws so they supported the British part in the war. In Philadelphia there were some of the first protests to the American rules.

The founding fathers was an american late-18th-century group of men, who made and signed a lot of important documents that created the foundation of how the American society should work. Among other founding documents, they signed the Document "The Declaration Of Independence" which basically was the document that confirmed the ideals on which The United States of America was founded and the reasons for separation from Great Britain.

The group gave the future American society an idea and some "guidelines" about how USA's form of government should work, which was about limiting the central control from the government. For example limiting the control of the current leader of the society and to protect the American's rights.

The four first American presidents, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, were a part of The Founding Fathers.

He was a supporter of the second amendment and was paranoid, that the goverment would repeal the law. He had very anti-goverment beliefs and the Oklahoma bombing was inspired by that. He believed that the bombing would inspire people to go against the "tyrannical goverment" and it was also a way for him to express his discontent.
