The “No car day” in the city, cause this are gonna be better for the air of the city and for the transportation

In Medellin, it is very common to see on the street, childrens asking for money. The mayority of them do that ‘cause the ir families are poor and need money to things that are necessary for example food, but others are obligated and forced by adults to work. This puts the children in danger and prevents them from going to school and having a better future.

Solutions:

1. Help families so they don’t have to send their children to the streets:

If parents have jobs and receive support with food and housing, children wouldn’t need to ask for money. The government and companies can create more programs to help these families.

2. Protect children and prevent them from staying on the streets:

Instead of giving them money, people can report these cases so the children can receive proper help. It is also important to have more shelters where they can live, study, and be safe.

These solutions would help children have a better future.

These problems are cause by diferente aspects first the socioeconomic vulnerability and the lack of education in not only child’s, but their parents, also because of the gentrification in the urban areas in Medellin that may cause the developing industries like sexual tourism and prostitution. Looking for a solution in this type of problems may seen difficult, but also necessary, first we need to invest in education for child’s and their family’s and Also we need to give opportunities for those who deserve to work and study but don’t have the resources to, also is really important to invest in security and protection for those who are force to work in these industries
