I learnt the importance of student having a writing tool (the notebook) that is valuable to them and they have ownership over.I didn't know.....That you could still provide the resources for students to put into their notebook if they choose (eg graphic organisers, list formats etc.A question I still have.....Are our writer's notebook sessions our open cycle lessons?  How do they combine with our genre lessons on Monday-Wednesday?
