Hi this is Adeline （孔爱兰). I usually go shopping around the city of Xenia and Beavercreek. I don't like big stores. ​(我不喜欢). I like shopping at Goodwill and MVP Liquidation. Both of these are secondhand stores and are much less money. I never go online shopping it is more fun to go in the stores and online shopping is expensive (太贵了). Clothing at a normal store is around 30 dollars (三十块）per piece of clothing. However, at Goodwill a shirt is only about 5 dollars （五快). The way people typically pay is with a credit card or another card. It is unusual for people to pay with cash. Returning clothes is easy. (换衣服很容易）. You just give it back and they give you your money back. My most fun shopping experience is MVP Liquidation because every item is only on dollar. Everything there is very cheap (很容易).

In my opinion the US can be an expensive country（太贵了). For example, if you want a makeup product from a well-known brand, it will cost at least $50. However, if you buy an "off-brand" version it will be much cheaper（便宜的）. On days like Black Friday or Cyber Monday, there are crazy sales throughout the United States. When buying items, I usually use Apple Pay or cash. Apple Pay is a payment method where you can buy something simply using your phone! The main payment method in the US is credit/debit card.  

I like to shop in person but especially 很喜欢上网买东西! There are many online shopping brands like Amazon and AliExpress. Amazon Prime has very fast shipping, sometimes items are even delivered within 24 hours! 

In the US returning items is 很容易 in some stores (商店）but can be 很难 in others. Usually, there is a specific time you can return (换) an item by, and you can get store credit, cash back, or reimbursement to your card. Or you can exchange it for another item which is the same cost/same item in a different size (多大的)!!

Shopping in Devon Avenue, Chicago Illinois is different than the rest of the United States because all the shops/shopkeepers (售后元） are South-Asian. Since I am South-Asian myself, I love going here. Being around my own people makes me happy! (很高兴).

Hello, my name is Matthew Mapley （你好，我叫麦柏里). I usually shop online, but I like (喜欢） to go to a store that sells computers（电脑) called the Microcenter. They have a lot of computers (很多电脑）that you can choose from to buy （买) and they sell them cheaper (便宜） than other stores. I live (我住在） an hour （一个小时）away from it and it costs a lot of money (很多钱）, so I don't go there often. However, shopping online is very expensive (太贵了)， so if I want to buy something that is costs a lot of money, I go to the Microcenter to save money. They will also sometimes allow you to sell them your computer or exchange (换) it for other parts. They also often have discounts so that you can afford to buy more at the store (商店). That was how I got my computer. Most of the time people in the US use credit or debit cards to pay for things, especially at the Microcenter where many things cost a lot of money。

Walmart is 很大商店。Walmart has 衣服和食物。There are malls in nearby cities, but I usually don't go to them. I go to Walmart to 买东西食物为. Last time I went, I bought 很食物。 I saw prices 太贵了。My family always pays with a debit card. To return 衣服，you must have a receipt. Shopping at Walmart is not very unique

I shop in Beavercreek Ohio. My shopping experience mostly consists of only grocery shopping. 我喜欢购物美食。 我不喜欢 shopping for 衣服 because it is always too hard to find 衣服 for me. I usually shop in supermarkets like Kroger or Costco. While Kroger is more of a traditional store that sells smaller, fresher, and more individual items, Costco sells a lot of frozen items that are usually in bulk. In my opinion, shopping online 不好 because you can never truly trust the seller. When shopping online it is important to do extra research on the product to make sure it is credible. I don't like putting in the extra effort which is why I like to shop in person. That way I can make sure that the item is 很好. In America a lot of our produce tends to be more expensive because of how much effort it takes to make it. I know about three main ways people pay in America. They can use cash, credit card, or debit card. Many times, when you shop you receive a receipt that shows you all the items you bought and how much it all costs. You can use that receipt to return an item if you don't want it. Lasty, what makes Beavercreek so special is the fact that there is absolutely nothing special about it. 谢谢！

I love shopping, （我爱购物） and my favorite place to shop is in Florida when I get to travel there.

I travel to Florida typically once a year, usually in the Fort Meyers area. I like to buy (我喜欢买）keychains and clothes (衣服). I collect keychains from different places and I like buying clothes. (我喜欢买衣服）

In the areas I have been, they have a lot of stores (很多商店）that sell a lot of ocean-related and tourist things. (东西）The stores are also decorated in bright colors. (颜色） The stores are typically all in one area and they have all sorts of stores I like walking around and seeing. I have bought quite a few things in the times I have travelled. I don't think （我不觉得）anything I've bought has been too expensive.（太贵了)

Other than in-person shopping, I spend a lot of time online shopping. （网上购物）I really like looking at stuff online. （我很喜欢网上购物看东西）Online shopping, I tend to see a lot more deals and discounts when online shopping. There are also big, well-known sales like cyber-Monday and black Friday. People go crazy for those.

I haven't personally returned anything in-store before. I have returned things I've bought online before and it is a pretty easy process. You put your item back in the packaging, tape it shut, put a return label, and ship it back. Then, once the seller or store gets the item back, they will refund your money (钱）back onto your bank account as you use a card for online shopping. In-person shopping you can use cash or card.

In Florida, I've never returned anything. I tend to try on (试试） any clothes (衣服） before buying to make sure it fits (大小合适）and I like it. (我喜欢）

Overall, I really like shopping in Florida because I see things I don't see in Ohio, and the salespeople (售货员） in Florida seem happier and more polite。

When I go to India I shop near my house which is in Bangalore which is also walking distance away. When I go I mainly shop for clothes (衣服). I like (我喜欢) Kurtas. I like black color clothes(我喜欢黑色的衣服)。But kurtas come in many colors (颜色)。In India there are stores (商店) but lots of (很多) street stores (商店). When you ask how much altogether? (一共多少钱) they give you a price but (可是) there's usually deals going on during the holidays. but you (可是 你) can bargain sometimes for lower prices. They also say its not expensive (不要太贵的) all the time to persuade you to buy it. Whenever you look at the shop the salesperson asks you (售货员问你) please try it on (您试一下)。When you order online it usually take 4 (四) to 5 (五) days to arrive. Because lots (因为 很) of traffic in India. They main way they pay is either Google Pay or cash. It isn't hard to exchange clothes (换衣服)，but (可是) not all 商店 offer returns. Usually you can try on (式衣服) at the stores to know the correct size (长短)。But if you didn't try and return they might not always take it. The shopping center in the picture above is the Kenwood Mall. 这商店太大了！I go there very rarely since it is so far away from my home. This mall is located in Cincinnati (pronounced Sin-si-nat-ee), Ohio. 我喜欢买东西，也我常常买东西。

My favorite store in the mall is the LEGO store. 折商店太小了. It is very colorful, but the shop is mainly 黄的商店.

Returns in America are very easy (很容易). If the item is lightly used or not used at all, they will usually take it back. They accept clothing such as T shirts (T恤衫), pants (裤子), jackets (外套), and even more!

I do alot of 上网买东西. The app I use the most being Amazon. The most prominent deals being during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Each of those days resulting in deals cross different stores. Though, due to inflation and greed most of the deals aren't always that good. 我很喜欢买东西 in person. Especially among my friends at different malls. As for payment I usually use Debit card for different clothing items and food. But cash only when I go to places that only accept cash, like the Skating rink downtown.

As for return most stores are pretty understanding as long as you have either a receipt or your email, so the only hassle is driving back to the place! Finishing off, Dayton isn't anything special.

My favorite store is the record store, where you can buy lots of different types of music. 我很喜欢听音乐。That is where my picture is from! While shopping, I bought a record, two cat decorations for my room, two CDs, a sweater, and two stickers. 这件sweater 很漂亮！I ended up spending around 七十五块 （$75 US dollars. ）

In October, I went shopping (我十月去买东西了) with my friend and my little brother (我和我的一个朋友和我弟弟) at 2nd Street Market in Dayton, Ohio. I don't go shopping very often (我不常去买东西), so it was very fun. They have many little stores (很多小商店) at 2nd Street Market, so I wanted to buy a lot of things (我想买很多). By the end of the day, I got some fresh vegetables (青菜), a lot of fruit (很多水果), and a new black shirt (新黑色衬衫). I also ate some pierogis for lunch (我午饭吃了饺子) and had an iced coffee (我喝了冰咖啡) while I was there. Unfortunately, everything was kind of expensive (太贵了), but it was still fun. I really like going to (我很喜欢去) 2nd Street Market because they have a lot of things that you can't buy (你不能买) at other stores.

A year ago, I went to Boston(波士顿) and found a thrift warehouse. This store (这是商店) had many vintage clothing items(衣服). I bought four pants and three shirts. Since these were old clothes (老衣服), they were really cheap(太便宜了). The payment is different since the items had no price tag. The store clerk(售货员) weighs your clothes, and you pay by the weight. The store was very big (很大) where the bottom floor had the cheaper clothes, and the top floor had the expensive(太贵了)clothes. When I bought these clothes, I had to keep in mind that I couldn't return them (不能). Therefore, I made sure I bought clothes that I really liked(很喜欢). My favorite hobbies are crocheting and reading (看书). I usually go into the store (商店) to buy them because I love (爱) looking and checking the products as well as getting distracted by other things around the store. I purchased (买了) a crocheting kit and I’ve made stuff for my family (我的家人). My current project is making hats (帽子), socks (袜子), and a blanket for my aunt’s new baby. Unfortunately, I’ve run out of yarn, so I need to buy more, which I’ll buy from Joann's, my favorite crafts store.

Last year (昨年), I bought a batch of books I like from Barnes and Noble, my favorite bookstore. They also have Funk Pops of characters from lots of entertainment companies, which I love to collect as well.

I enjoy shopping online (网上购物). I really only shop Black Friday deals because that’s the deal on Amazon that has the most stuff. I haven’t needed to buy (买) tech during Cyber Monday because the things (东西) I have still work. I don’t buy clothes (不买衣服) only because they can be different and I like to see the patterns physically. Also, I like seeing what other options I have and if I can buy something else instead.

I think I spend too much money (钱), especially when I don’t have a job. Basically all my money comes from birthdays or good chores (but not all chores). I plan on getting a job this fall so I can buy things (买东西) without worry and save for things I want.

Me and my mom went to many different thrift stores in the Dayton area, but we also went to some stores in Columbus. 我很喜欢购物. 我不喜欢网上购物. 我想在商店买 Clown Dolls. 我很喜欢clowns. 如果 Clown 我 就 买. The picture has all of my clown dolls I own in it 一共. The 小 红色 clown and 很大 粉红色 clowns are ones I got on the shopping trip. If you were wondering, 一共有多少钱? I ended up spending around $30. I like shopping at thrift stores because of how affordable and sustainable thrifting is. Thrifting 不要太贵的. You can not exchange at these stores though.

This story happened when I was a little younger. My older sister’s birthday🎂was coming up and so I decided to get her a present. Since I was young, I didn’t have a lot of money💵on me, and since my birthday is after my sister’s I did not have a lot to spend. The previous years I’d given her 20 dollars (二十美钱), but this year I wanted gto give her something a little more special. 

我的姐姐生日是五月十七号. 因为我是她的妹妹，所以我要买 a present. 我知道我的姐姐喜欢 Kirby. Usually I’d 上网买东西，可是 I accidentally let it slip from my mind, and anything I ordered would come after 她的生日. 所以，I decided to 去高屋中心 to find her something 太好了! When I got to 高屋中心, I chose to go look in 二个商店. 

Firstly, 我去第一 商店叫， Hot Topic. 我知道在这商店有 Kirby merchandise. In the crevis of the store I saw display full of Kirby themed items. They were 很可爱，可是也很贵了. 我爱的姐姐，可是我没有很钱. 所以，我去第二商店. 
第二商店叫，FYE. FYE has LOTS Kirby items. It made me very happy to see. I went over to the stand they had in the store and I saw so many different things. I saw items like little figurines, keychains, and even an otomatone (a type of intrument). 我不知道她的最喜欢. 那，I looked around and saw a shelf with 很多书. Then I remembered, 我知道我的姐姐很喜欢 Kirby 书! 我的姐姐还想要第六书. 我要就买这书. 

The book was 十钱，这价格不太贵了. In order to make the purchase, I had to go up to the 售货员和给t她钱. 因为在美国 we do not include sales tax on the price sticker，所以我问售货员，“这书多少吗?” After she gave me the total I paid and left the 高屋中心. 

The next year, I was lucky enough to have lots more 钱 around the time of my older sister’s 生日! So I was able to splurge a little and get her a book she had really, really wanted. I even was able to get her a little pamphlet to pay for it. This year, I want to get her something nice again, so for now I’ll stay brainstorming.

In the Summer I went on a cruise and got to stop at the island Cozumel in Mexico. This is where I experienced a new type of 买东西 experience. The typical 买东西experience in 美国 is pretty different, at least in 很小 cities. It's quite leisurely and self paced.

The 售货员 in Cozumel doesn't give you time to decide. Its a technique to rush and stress you out so you make a heedless decision to buy. 可是 这 衬衫 我 想要买 是 很 便宜 compared to 美国前. I ended up buying it anyway because it was pretty and was pressured into it. I wasn't sure if I was happy with my choice at the time but now I am. It was just a different experience than I'm used to in Ohio.

I recently wanted to buy shoes online, but I have only done so once before, and the size was too small, so I rarely buy online to avoid being in trouble.

Last weekend, my friend Alvin and I went shopping. The most memorable part was trying Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki together. It was my first time eating it, so it was quite an interesting experience. Although I thought it was just okay, if you ever try it, be careful with the mayonnaise, it can get overwhelming pretty quickly! 😬

If you come to Taiwan, you must go to the night market! I like to buy food in the night market very much. The food in the night market is super delicious. I recommend it to you!

This is the drink I bought. Taiwanese people love to drink beverages. This is a drink similar to bubble tea, and I really like it. I especially enjoy eating the tapioca pearls inside. My friend and I bought it together because there was a discount on the second cup. That kind of deal is very appealing to me because I can get the same thing for less money.

I often buy things because of discounts, such as “buy one, get one free” on pens or “buy six drinks and get a free reusable cup.” However, I sometimes end up overspending because of discounts, which isn’t a good habit. It leads to buying a lot of things I don’t actually need, and my money disappears quickly. This is not very friendly to my wallet.

I really enjoy shopping, especially for cosmetics and clothes. I usually visit department stores or malls where I can find all of my favorite brands. There's something exciting about browsing through the stores and discovering new products. Sometimes, I also shop online when I find good deals-it's convenient and a great way to grab discounts!

After shopping with my friends, we almost always go for hot pot to end the day. It's our favorite way to relax and enjoy good food together. There are so many hot pot restaurants around here, so we always have different options. I love the process of picking different ingredients, from meats to vegetables, and choosing the perfect dipping sauces. It's such a fun and tasty way to finish off our shopping trips.

I want to share my shopping experience with you. I like to go to Fengjia Night Market(逢甲夜市）. I go there for snacks when I’m hungry at night. There are a lot of delicious things. Sometimes I go there for dinner. In addition to street vendors, there are also many restaurants. The food is not very expensive. There is a pasta shop that is very delicious! In addition to food, there are also other shops selling various things, such as clothes, mobile phone accessories, photo stickers, etc. You can also take a walk there at night to experience the fireworks in the world. My shopping experience comes from convenience stores ,the most convenience store i go is 7-11 because it is near to my house .It sells many things like foods drinks and many daily life necessities.We can’t live without them.

I always go to buy frozen pasta cause it is really delicious sometimes better than some restaurants.

I recently went shopping in Korea and bought a lot of skincare, cosmetics, and snacks. Korea is known for beauty products, so I took the chance to stock up. Many stores had “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” deals and gave out lots of free samples, which is more than in Taiwan.

One big difference is payment methods. In Korea, people mostly use credit cards or mobile payments like Kakao Pay, while in Taiwan, cash is still common, especially in night markets. Shopping in Korea feels modern and organized, while Taiwan’s night markets are more lively, where you can sometimes bargain.

Overall, I really enjoyed shopping in Korea! The variety, quality, and service were great. Have you ever tried Korean skincare products?

I like online shopping very much( ¨̮ )Although I need to pay for shipping sometimes, it is very convenient and there are a variety of items to buy. The picture I post takes place in a department named Parco in Japan. I just bought a bag of anime goods haha.

I rarely go to the department store to buy things. The department store near our house has been blown up recently. I was shocked. Fortunately, I usually only go to the food street to eat, and usually only accompany my mother to buy things from the department store. I don‘t know much about other things.

I like to buy Gikawa and some charms, because they are cute and can be decorated with schoolbags, which will make me feel good.

Shopping in Taiwan is always an adventure! One of my favorite things to do is buying breakfast. In the mornings, you can easily grab a delicious Taiwanese breakfast at one of the many breakfast shops. Whether it’s a warm soy milk, crispy youtiao (fried dough sticks), or a savory egg pancake, breakfast here is always quick and tasty.

For late-night cravings, Taiwan is a paradise. You can find amazing food even after midnight! Night markets are open late, and there’s always a 24-hour convenience store just around the corner, ready to satisfy any food craving. I’ve bought everything from instant noodles to sushi rolls at these stores, and they’re always fresh and affordable.

Online shopping in Taiwan is so convenient too. You can order almost anything 24/7, and delivery usually takes about a week, but it’s worth the wait! Plus, picking up parcels is incredibly easy. There are many self-service 24-hour pickup locations, and even convenience stores allow you to pick up your deliveries. It’s so convenient to have packages delivered to places you frequent.

And of course, Taiwan’s convenience stores are like magical places. They are everywhere! You can find one almost every 300 meters, and they’ve become an integral part of daily life. I was even surprised to discover that you can buy and pick up train tickets at 7-Eleven! It’s amazing how they’ve expanded their services to make life even easier.

But sometimes, prices can get a little high. I’ve found that when you’re in popular shopping areas or malls, things can get expensive, so I always try to hunt for deals and grab discounts when I can. It’s fun finding good bargains!

  Max and I went to 新光department store last year on Christmas Eve. We had a great dinner and walked around in the mall to see what was popping recently.

  The massive Christmas tree in front of the department store impressed me a lot. Although we don’t really celebrate Christmas, the atmosphere here really makes me wanna experience Western Christmas culture so much.

I love collecting and building models, especially Gundam models. Every time I go shopping, I always check out hobby stores to see if there are any new releases or rare kits. Sometimes, I even order online if I can’t find what I want in stores.

Building models is really fun and relaxing. It takes time and patience, but the feeling of completing a model is so satisfying. Plus, I enjoy painting and customizing them to make each one unique.

I want to tell you the shopping experience during my trip to Japan. I had the chance to use a milk vending machine after a relaxing hot spring bath. The machine was simple to use—just a quick scan of my room card, and I could purchase a fresh bottle of milk. The cold, creamy taste was incredibly refreshing after the warmth of the onsen. It was a small but memorable experience, blending convenience with a bit of traditional Japanese culture. I loved how easy it was to grab a drink without needing cash. Sadly, I heard that this type of glass-bottled milk will soon be discontinued, making this experience even more special.

I got this album through a club sale. Normally, one album costs over 500 NTD, but through the club, I was able to get three for just 600 NTD, which was such a great deal that I couldn't resist buying them. Later, I also went to an album store and bought another one of their albums—and once again, I pulled the photocard I wanted! I feel so lucky!

In addition to enjoying delicious food in the store, you can overlook the beautiful ocean, even up to 60M! You can enjoy the view of the Taiwan Strait and Taichung Harbor City, which is wonderful both day and night. He also organizes many international brands, so you can shop all of them in one go.

Department stores and malls are both place I go really often. Malls in Taiwan often offer discounts on off-season clothing, shoes, and jackets. I actually went to a mall with my family last Sunday and had lunch there. However, these days, I find online shopping much more convenient. It allows us to access a wider variety of brands, compare products easily, and find exactly what we like.

For dining, night markets are always a great choice. In Taiwan, cash is still the most common payment method, rather than mobile payments like Apple Pay. So, we usually carry cash with us whenever we go out.

I love shopping too, but I don’t shop online that often.The last time I shopped online was to get some extra chapters of a novel I like, but the three books ended up costing 2700 NTD (about 90 USD). My mom doesn’t really want me to buy them.I’m still trying to convince her let me buy.

I often go to the department store called Show Tai to shop for clothes, but I usually don’t end up wearing them. I just keep wearing my old clothes. I also love buying accessories . I recently got a bear cartilage earring. I don’t have pierced ears, but I really like earrings. As for bracelets and necklaces, I bought too many before, so now my mom limits me from buying too many of these things.

Hello my name is 楊璨誠(David).Recently, I visited an audio store to test different headphones, and it was such an interesting experience! I love music, so I was curious about how different headphones sound. But to be honest, I don’t have the money to buy them—I was just there to listen for fun.

At the store, I tried various models. Some had an amazing soundstage, perfect for instrumental music, while others had deep bass that made pop songs really punchy. It was fascinating how different brands have their own signature sound.

Then, something funny happened. While

I was testing a pair of headphones that cost nearly $1,000, my grandma called me and told me to go home for dinner. So, for a moment, I was using an ultra-expensive audiophile headphone... just to answer a phone call. It felt kind of ridiculous, but also hilarious!

In the summer of the year before last, my parents and I traveled to Osaka, Japan, and it was also our first time visiting Universal Studios Japan.As soon as I arrived at Universal Studios, I excitedly went to the shops to buy cute accessories, wanting to immerse myself in the amusement park atmosphere. I was deeply drawn to the Tim Bear, which is Bob's stuffed bear from the Minions.

Because Bob is so timid, he always holds it in his hand, as it gives him a sense of security. I bought a Tim Bear headband, a crossbody bag, and a doll. They were so cute!
