The job posting was for a CNL for a Maternal/Baby department and stated that the person was to be an RN with 3 years experience in direct patient care, ability to problem solve and must complete the CNL certificate program within the first 6 months of employment. When the requirements are listed it says at the end "OPEN TO NEW GRADS", so this tells me that there is a shortage of Clinical Nurse Leaders in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. The posting for the CNL states that it a full-time job and does not state a salary offered (Indeed, 2018).
