This quote accurately describes the monster, because he did not always have bad motives.
When he was first born/created, he entered a village and was entranced by the kind and loving scenes that the village presented him with. At this point he is the fallen angel. However, the villagers see him as a monster and start attacking him and chasing him. This establishes his transformation from the angel into the devil. After this he builds himself a living space and witnesses the life of a family for a period of about one year. But, they too attack him and chase him away. This further develops his devilish character. Now on the run, he comes across William and tries to befriend him, however, William calls him a monster and tries to run. The monster then grabs Williams neck and chokes him. Preceding this the Monster exclaims, "I too can crease desolation; my enemy is not invulnerable."  This quote finalises his transformation into the maignant devil. This quote expresses how isolated he is from society and the rest of the world. Throughout his life he attempts multiple time to make human contact and make friends but every time he is rejected. This leaves him to live his life on his own with no social contact except for occasional communications with Frankenstein. The quote was said by the Monster after Frankenstein passes away which is why he feels as if he is know even more alone. This quote fully sums up the creatures life in the book of Frankenstein. Tragedy, pain and struggle seem to follow the creature and Frankenstein no matter the circumstances or location. His appearance means he is endlessly lonely, and even his attempt to obtain a female monster to be around came so close yet was taken away from him at the last moment, causing even more pain and suffering. His existence is a endless cycle of misery, all the way to his sad and lonely death.

This demonstrates that the monster is not a creation of nature and nothing in nature can be compared to the monster. The description that no human should have to look at the monster is a vivid description which shows how ugly he is.

The quote: " a miserable wretch, haunted by a curse
that shut up every avenue to enjoyment." This quote strikes me because it is stated by Frankenstein shortly after the creation of his monster. This quote creates and impressions that Frankenstein's monster brings bad luck (haunted by a curse), and has ruined all Victor Frankenstein's hope and anticipation of the ultimate monster (shut up every avenue of enjoyment). This except from pg 112 wherein the monster pleads for a companion to alleviate his loneliness. From the beginning of this quote implies that the monster has given up on forming any bonds with humans a they abhor and reject him, this desperate plea to help make up for his misery demonstrates the the idea that the monster does have an idea of morals and asks for a compensation for all of his woes and his suffering. this idea of human empathy and companionship is evident in displaying the more human traits of the monster and contrasts him with the more apathetic and seemingly uncaring creator, Victor Frankenstein.

This quote provides a the reader with an idea of how the monster is perceived by society and while it also suggests how the monster is far more than perceived. "his yellow skin scarcely covered" gives a detail description how the the ugly physical appearance of the monster detracts more his complex emotional and metal state. "scarcely covers work of muscles and arteries beneath" suggest that the monster is emotionally struggling, and lives in the constant shadow of his physical appearance. this allows the reader to understand the monster's demeanour, because it is mentally exhausting to be himself he lives up to him depiction, truly being a monster.
