In an interview broadcast on ESPN last August, Khabib said he was ready to fight and "go to jail" if he met again Conor McGregor, in reference to their stormy end of fight a year ago when the Russian was out of the cage to settle scores with the team of the Irishman. But, according to a statement from Khabib, the revenge between the two sworn enemies of the UFC should be delayed.

"The rivalry with McGregor is a thing of the past, he has something to prove, but not me", said the fighter to USA Today, "most of businessmen will tell me to fight him beacause it will bring in money. But I will fight against all the main contenders", he assured, implying that McGregor wasn't a credible challenger.

Georges St-Pierre back to the UFC ??

Officially retired since February, Georges St-Pierre still trains as much. True martial artist, the legend had wished the fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov. According to him, it would not be totally lost.

Georges St-Pierre fought for the last time in November 2017 after a break of more than four years. After defeating Michael Bisping and taking the middleweight belt, the Canadiens then surrendered the title following health issues. By the end of 2018, a megafight opposing Khabib Nurmagomedov was then desired by both men. Unfortunately for them, and for all the fans, the UFC stopped all possible advances of this project which would be lucrative for everyone ... and St-Pierre decided to retire. The Canadian humbly explains the organization's decision with this argument: "Maybe they don't want me to beat him because if I leave after that, I ruin their own investment. "

During an interview on a TSN broadcast, GSP returned to these aborted negotiations:
"Khabib wanted the fight, I wanted the fight, but unfortunately, it didn't happen. That's why I retired. For me, I have a lot more to lose than to win now. And the most important thing for me is my health. I am not , pursuing my goal, which was to be the best fighter in the world. I have been the number one for many years and it is not my main priority anymore."

Georges St-Pierre also took the opportunity to explain his motivation to get this fight: "If I want a fight for my legacy, Khabib is the man to beat right now. For me, he is the best fighter in the world right now. Unbeaten, he showed no kind of weakness. Nobody has ever been about to solve the puzzle. That's why it is very interesting for me."
I think the main reason for his choice of opponent is only to get a lot of money for his last fight. In fact, Khabib is curently the most bankable fighter on the circuit.

In your opinion, who would be the winner of this legendary fight ?

"BANLIEUSARDS", the other side of the periphery according to Kery James

"Banlieusards" is the first film directed by Kery James and Leila Sy. The first is more used to take his pen for his songs, the second to use her camera for clips.

They join their forces for this film, "Banlieusards", which bears the same title as the flagship music of the discography of the rapper from Val-de-Marne. "Banlieusards" relates the journey of three brothers in a sensitive suburb of Paris. There is Soulaymaan, student lawyer, brilliant candidate for an eloquence contest. Demba, the eldest, hasn't left the neighborhood and lives to the rhythms of traffic that make him prosper. The youngest, 15-year-old Noumouké, still lives with his mother and seeks his way between two big brothers and two antagonistic models.

Author of a committed and militant discography, Kery James begins his film career in the same vein. He doesn't miss an opportunity to remind during his promotional tour that his film was rejected by all the distributors and only the Netflix streaming platform has agreed to ditribut his film ... Fortunately for the viewer. "Banlieusards" are worth a look for its political dimension to the state of the suburbs and its people, these famous suburbs rich in under-exploited and reckless talents. "Banlieusards" hang on and hit, like a rap. This is particularly the case of this very successful eloquence competition scene, where the authors can let go of their dialectic with enthusiasm.

« Hors normes », beautiful militant cinema

A film about disability shot like a thriller with a music that grabs you in the guts, actors whose game is screaming truth. Some of them are not professionals. Others are in a situation of real handicap. Out of the ordinary.
From the first scene that begins on the escape of a girl in the streets of Paris, we are caught by the intensity of emotions, the rhythm of the days of Malik and Bruno - Reda Kateb and Vincent Cassel - by their magnificent and rare personalities. These men exist. Their devotion too.
Of course, we don't forget that this is a social film, a film that engages and makes you want to celebrate the courage of those who devote themselves to a difficult cause and dedicate their lives to improve those of these autistic children, walled in themselves. In this world where communication is done only through a smartphone, « Hors normes » makes you want to create the link, to tighten the links, to give ... without compensation!
The film challenges the audience and requires a new eye to them to apprehend the handicap, and more particularly the subject of autism and "heavy cases".

Make our planet great again !

Last week, I was talking with Sebastien and Alexandre about Sweeney's actions to prevent deforestation. Thus, this week, I wanted to be more aware about climate issues of our time. And, I found a wonderful documentary named "Our planet" on Netflix. In fact, the images of the documentary are so beautiful that Netflix viewers are wondering if they are computer generated images.

Marvelous images of a whale and its offspring, zooms on insects explorations in the abyss to find out incredible creatures and literally never filmed... everything is real. For the most curious spectators, a making of is available at the end of the documentary, showing how much the producers used a budget that seems almost unlimited to equip their teams with the latest technologies and show nature in a form never seen.

In fact, 600 people worked on "Our Planet", accumulating 3.500 days of filming.
All these financial, technological and human resources have made possible the beauty and relevance of this documentary - both a scientific document and a communication tool for the planet.

For instance, the glacier fracture mobilized a team of six for three weeks, waiting for something to happen. Patience was their only trick.

"Our Planet" is the best way to reach 150 million people at once and raise awareness about the issues of global warming, deforestation and the action of man on nature.

A site has also been created to accompany this work of awareness and show how to work to save what we see on these images. In a sense, the question of synthetic images speaks of our time: we no longer believe in the reality of nature when it is shown to us, since it seems to run to ruin.
