We will have at least four performances at school and in the community. Our community concert is on April 27th, at 6:30 p.m. at Atchison Middle School.  I am certain that more performances will be scheduled as the school year progresses.  

The Atchison Aviators have been existence for thirteen years!  In the past, we have performed at the University of Kansas Women’s basketball game in Lawrence, Kansas, MLS Sporting KC in Kansas City, Kansas, A.H.S. men’s varsity basketball game, the Kansas City Royals in Kansas City, Missouri, Benedictine College, the Kansas City T-Bones independent league baseball team, and various Lewis and Clark festivities. We have had 710 members in our chorus over the years and have grown from 24 members our first year to 70 strong in 2014!  

*  First of all, turn in your signed application sheet to Mr. Weaver by October 15th.

*  You must have excellent behavior in the classroom.  If you receive an ISS after you join, you will be dismissed from the group.

*  You must work hard in the regular classroom, maintaining a 2.0 or above in all classes.

*  You must receive your classroom teacher and Mr. Michel's and Mrs. Honeywell's recommendation.

*  After your application is accepted, you will need to turn in your $20.00 activity fee and purchase your Atchison Aviators performance polo shirt, $10.00.  This needs to be done by November 1st.

If you were a member last year, you will NOT need to purchase a new shirt unless it doesn't fit well. 

ALL members will need to pay the activity fee.
