But if your curiosity leads you inside the Annenkirche, you will be surprised by the way the building looks from the inside.

In 1935, religious services were stopped and in 1939 the building was redesigned into a movie theater "Spartacus". Over the time, the cinema has transformed into a rock club.

Worships and spiritual meetings are held in the chapel which was restored. Actually, the exterior of the building does not attract attention as it looks just like an ordinary Lutheran church and there are many such churches in the city.

Annenkirche and those who are trying to revive it seem very inspirational to me.
