         <description><![CDATA[<div>We understand that her mother has died.<br>The fact that she talked about the importance of the Kaddish, yet wants to do it by herself (even though she's a woman), shows that she's traditional, yet somewhat ahead of her time- a feminist.<br>She also comes across as very polite and grateful.<br><br>Also- the time that the letter was written was 1916 and the place was New York.</div>]]></description>
