In this video below it shows the mayor of quahog (Mayor West) receiving a question from resident of quahog (Mort Goldman) regarding the frequency of the towns garbage pick up. Gather Information:
Because the essential oil wave is currently present in modern society you're able to find a lot of sources for and against.

Claims that though some oils could point toward being anti-allergens or have medical use, the testing was very scarce in both testees (tested on mice) and not very thorough.

Alternative 1:
Essential oils are a completely valid form of medical aids, for allergies, cuts, sunburns, digestion etc.

Alternative 2:
Though essential oils could display minimal signs of being medically helpful, not enough research has been done.

Best Alternative:
I think alternative 2 is more likely. I think that more research must be done into any medical properties that essential oils could potentially have.
